🌲Merry Christmas🌲 to all from Glasgow, 8deg. and heavy rain.

DD1 and the girls will pop in at some point before hosting Christmas dinner for them and her ex. She has such a big heart. Traditionally, they come to us for another Christmas Day tomorrow. Something that works well for our family.
A relaxing day ahead for DH and I this year, suits us 😄

Hoping we hear some good news from Susan who is in my thoughts today.

Best wishes to all for a peaceful day, especially to those who have sad memories to bare or struggles and worries still a part of your lives.

Excellent news, Susan! Hope he continues to improve!👍🏻

Christmas greetings to all and special thoughts to those with illness and worry, especially * Susan’s* family.

Slightly bleary eyed after midnight mass. DS and family were here overnight and are off shortly to meet his new grandson, born yesterday, one birthday we won’t ever forget. I have invited a recently widowed friend to lunch so need to get started soon, though as it’s a duck the cooking time is much shorter.

Happy Christmas to all!!
So glad your GS is beginning to improve Susan.
We have 3 sons home, 2 partners, our Ukranian family are coming for lunch and one other friend so quite a houseful. Mixture of meat eaters and veggies. should be a lovely day. Went to midnight mass so have woken late for me.

Home later to cook a small turkey, our children and grandchildren are all away this year so we are having our first Christmas alone.

Good morning from a grey North Leicestershire

Quiet day here - we should have been waking in a hotel but decided that we would be better having a quiet time on our own. Really looking forward to it.

So pleased to see your brilliant news, Susan.

Have a lovely day all.

Welcome WWM2.

Good morning all and it’s peaceful here. I. Having a cuppa with little pooch snuggled up beside me. Dh still 😴😴😴.

Just us little twosome today! Bliss! We’ll walk the dog, put the Turkey in and take the day as it comes. We’ll have lots of phone calls and facetimes and generally have a relaxing day.

Tomorrow will be different. Son is hosting all the family (first time we haven’t ‘done’ Boxing day. 20 people and 3 dogs!
Will be fun.

Happy Christmas to you all!

Thoughts and prayers to all who are poorly especially the little ones, Susan and Glammagran . 🙏

Good morning from Shropshire.

Thank you again for your continued support.

The care he has and is receiving is amazing.Yesterday he was visited by Santa, firemen and a lovely lady bearing gifts.DD said he wasn’t up to interacting with them but is loving his gifts this morning.

We are so grateful for all your support and to all the drs and nurses.

Morning and a Merry Christmas from a balmy S Hampshire. Grandchildren up at a respectable 7:20 and stockings opened on our bed, first year the youngest doesn’t ‘believe’, at nearly 10, not surprising. Enjoy your lunch Mick and thank you for this thread.
Thoughts are with Susan56.
May you all have a peaceful day🦩🦩

Oopsadaisy1 Sun 25-Dec-22 08:13:40

Good morning from a grey Oxfordshire.
Wishing everyone a Very Happy Christmas, thoughts and prayers are with Susan and her family and for those whose Christmas isn’t what they would have wished for.

GrannyGravy13 Sun 25-Dec-22 08:12:32

Morning all, wishing you a peaceful and stress free Christmas Day.

I need to crack on and put the Turkey in the oven, lay the table then shower and get glammed up for when the family arrive.
We shall raise a glass in remembrance to our loved ones no longer with us.

Thinking of Susan56

Have a brilliant day however you are spending it 🤶🎄🎅🏻🎁

Sar53 Sun 25-Dec-22 08:12:20

A Very Happy Christmas to you all from our lovely hotel in Kent.
I hope your day is full of all the things you would want it to be.
Eat, drink and be happy with the ones you love, either in person or thought. Love to all xx

brook2704 Sun 25-Dec-22 08:07:13

Merry Christmas all from Inverness where it’s cold with rain, sleet or snow due later depending on which forecast you believe
Enjoy your Christmas meal mick and thank you for starting this friendly supportive thread every morning
DH is popping into his work first thing to lay and then light the big log fires in the restaurant, they’ve a busy day ahead there. We’re then heading over to DD2s house for lunch, we’re taking all the prepared veg and the dessert for later. I’m looking forward to spending the day with them all and then we’ll come home late tonight
Susan56 hope today brings a bit better news
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles and especially those who find today difficult, take care all whatever the day brings 💐
