Merry ChristmasMick and everyone from the Scottish Borders. Mild thankfully.
I love Matt today Urms grin
I'm hosting lunch for DH family including DMiL who's 97.
It will be half meat and half vegan.
DS and family will call round after lunch to amuse us.
I still have lots to do so must get out of bed.
Hope your day goes well and safely.

Good morning all from rainy Glasgow.

I’m waiting to hear the sound of excited children, they’re still sleeping.

We will travel over to DS’s later to have Christmas dinner with them and possibly stay over.

Happy Christmas everyone, may you find peace today.

Morning all from West Oxfordshire and Happy Christmas. It feels mild today. Elder son and family should arrive this morning from Kew. Daughter and younger son are in bed. I remembered to type up a time plan for lunch so will print it off when I get up. I pray today can be both peaceful and joyful.🎄

Happy christmas, good morning s somerset looks to be set fair for the day smile

I do like the role reversal, have not had to do a thing and am leaving at first light for DDs for the day, where I will be having a vegan lunch and a jolly time. Love my own bed so will be coming back home

The beautiful service of togetherness at westminster last night was a truly lovely start to christmas. I took my hankie out as the ukrainian children were singing

Good morning and Merry Christmas everyone from West Berkshire. Wishing you all a peaceful day.
Special thoughts to those with heartbreak and pain in their lives.

Here’s Matt.

Good morning and Happy Christmas everyone from south Manchester. It’s still dark (natch) but seems mild. Lights are on in some houses - children will be up and opening their Christmas parcels.

Our daughter and son in law are hosting today so we are picking my stepfather up about 1pm and driving over with our contributions. I’m roasting a turkey crown, a rib of beef and making the stuffing. The Yorkshire Duo are down in Oxford for the festivities.

Thoughts are with any who are struggling. It’s not a day that suits everybody. x

Good morning, and Merry Christmas!

Had the dogs out for a quick, if soggy, pee, now consuming strong coffee. Me, not the dogs.

Less sleep than I'd hoped for last night, although not too bad.

I found myself curiously excited. This is my first Christmas in the small block of supported living flats that I moved to in January this year. It has felt very odd not to be doing all the preparation for a Christmas meal in my individual home for the first time in about 40 years. I'm hoping that lunch won't feel too "let's be kind to the old folk" - but even if it does, it will have been kindly meant.

I've always loved this early morning stillness on Christmas Day - Christmas has dawned but the noise and bustle hasn't got up yet.

Merry Christmas, everyone! 🌟

Good Morning Mick and everyone from Hull.

Happy Christmas 🎄

I need to get up soon and put a gammon in the oven for when the family arrive this morning. But today is a little more chilled food wise as we had our Christmas dinner yesterday and it was enjoyed by all so just a little buffet this afternoon.

Wishing you a lovely special day. 🌻🎄

Good morning Mick, and a very happy Christmas to you too!
Another wet start here in Wiltshire, hoping it brightens up later.
Christmas wishes to you all 🎄🎅🏼🥂

Happy Christmas from Bristol. We have been promised a dry, mild day.
I hope everyone has a lovely day, not overshadowed by discord , illness or unhappiness. ❤️
Your dinner sounds delicious, Mick, they are vegetarian here, so although the meal will be good, it doesn’t compare with a lump of meat!
Chat to DS in ind on his way to a small job in Hà Nội, then Church service at 10. DSiL’s family will all be coming for lunch - I’ll be the only representative of DD’s family. Although very fond of them, I feel rather overwhelmed.
