Think the media are getting it wrong again over rail dispute

I heard that the rail strikes over Christmas have halted the yearly rail repairs which will now have to be rescheduled and therefore cause disruption to train timetables.

Both BBC and Sky are reporting that difficulties with be encountered due to rail straikes on Boxing day.
Don't think there has been a very limited rail service on boxing since approx 1988.
