No,not so far but am expecting another gift from visitor this afternoon. I do tend to give pretty clear guidelines these days.

This year my family and friends agreed a 'no gift' policy other than children. We will spend time individually together in The New Year having lunch out and a catch up.

TBH, most presents I get are unwanted. I don't actally want any more stuff.

Not many this time though I could have done without some of the chocs and foodstuffs. All very nice but not good for the health!

A self help book.

I’m not quite sure what the message is……….😬

Well I wont need to buy any shower gel this year but its all expensive stuff so i will be keeping it.
DH would me an expensive but horrible necklace just ;like one we took back a few years ago that didn't like as I really don't like bling. Not sure what I can do with this. He also bought me a granny cardigan that will find its way to a charity shop. I gave him a list of 'no thank you' presents to try to cut down the expense and waste but it didn't work.

A dear old friend gave me a Dr.Who teapot and matching mug.
Such a strange gift, it made me laugh. Dare I sell it on ebay?

I think there's a few on e-bay already!

If it's the 'tardis' teapot - it reminds me of those now old-fashioned police telephone boxes which we used to see occasionally and which I assume it's supposed to represent.

Why not just keep it and bring it out when you have guests for afternoon tea? It's slightly unique in our age group!

I didn't, but my cat got 4 tins of 'gourmet' cat-food, upon which he turned up his nose.

He will have to have his own box of unwanted gifts. grin

Yes, a couple but once the holidays are over I will take them to our local shelter for distribution to people who really can use them. i.e. new socks etc. or they can be sold on at the shelter's charity shop.

A colouring in book from mum. I draw and paint so I can just about see the link. Also from mum, a foot massager. I will almost certainly never use it.

Everyone has been very kind and generous but often people misjudge what things you will like.
I keep a box of unused presents that I cannot regift. This year I added shower gel, body scrub, candles, a sewing set and a jigsaw.
Did you get anythings you won't use?
