Face creams that I asked for, some beautiful candles from one Granson, and a bag of not expensive things chosen by my younger Grandson, all things I will eat, like, and use.

CanadianGran Thu 29-Dec-22 21:08:57

I should buy a thesaurus... a nice one! haha

Patsy70 Thu 29-Dec-22 21:08:43

Two beautiful jumpers, scarves, socks, candles, chocolates, bird feeder, garden pot & holder. I was thoroughly spoilt. ♥️

CanadianGran Thu 29-Dec-22 21:08:18

Nice chocolates, nice socks (50% wool, so warm but not itchy), a new puzzle and a nice but casual sweater.

LtEve Thu 29-Dec-22 21:07:55

I got a new kindle from DH, a knitted throw, a silk eye mask and some new pj’s from DD and a Simple magazine subscription and a Seasalt top from my 2 sons. Love all my presents, I am very lucky.

M0nica Thu 29-Dec-22 20:59:17

All of them. nearly all books and all were ones I wanted, or in one case DS knew me so well, he knew he could confidently buy me a specific book without checking.

A calendar illustrated with family photos

In my stocking I had a practical plastic plate to use in the microwave and lots of white chocolate.

GrannySeaside51 Thu 29-Dec-22 20:50:57

A 2023 calendar with photos of my DD’s black lab
A bottle of Damson gin

AskAlice Thu 29-Dec-22 20:37:13

I got a huge box of bits and bobs for the greenhouse and gardening. New trowel, fork and weeder, plant labels, twine, snips, little butterflies on wires, all those lovely things that you see and think "I really need those!"

Jo Malone Pear and Freesia cologne - gorgeous fragrance that I have not tried before.

Also, a solar light in the shape of a tortoise - perfect!

Lovely smellies from DD2 (who is 5 weeks away from having her first child in her late 30s - that will be a wonderful gift in itself!) and a beautiful hand knitted scarf.

Truly spoilt...

Ailidh Thu 29-Dec-22 20:30:11

I had some lovely things!
Including
LED gloves that are just perfect for taking the dogs out for their last and first lampposts of the day when it's dark (live in apartment with communal gardens, can't just chuck them out the back like I used to)
Candles to aid sleep
Silver brooch of a sheep (I'm a crocheter)
Lovely soft shawl from a fairly new friend, wasn't sure if he would but he did, huzzah!

Oh, and the dogs bought me a print by Zeppelinmoon!

HowVeryDareYou Thu 29-Dec-22 20:19:05
