Good morning from east Yorkshire. Still dark but dry. Yesterday was a lovely sunny day.
I spent the morning putting away the Christmas decs. The living room looks quite bare now. I could do with some new photos to grace the mantel piece.
In the afternoon we went to M&S for a few bits and had a cuppa. No cake or biscuit though we both need to get out of that habit. I noticed they were putting out displays of chocolates etc for Valentines Day and Easter already.

I’ve been thinking of Urms and her SF after her post on another thread and hoping all is well.

I’m enjoying hearing about Madeira Shazza it’s making me want to return there as we think ahead of holidays for the year.

Have a good day everyone.

A dark damp start here in Oxfordshire. I was back in the office yesterday after a long Xmas break, and working at home again today.
I am expecting a delivery from Boden, great sale on, I have been a bit click happy blush
A wet dog walk later I expect, I dislike this wet mild weather but it helps financially, with a heated throw I won't need heating on.
I hope you find some sunshine in your day.

Morning Mick, morning All from a very soggy corner of Somerset. Rain forecast every day for the next week.

Breakfast was excellent yesterday, managed a short walk on a very windy sea front between heavy showers, some laundry and a couple of phone calls and that was my day.

All is not well with our goddaughter who will phone this morning, we’ve decided to tackle a couple of boxes of goodness knows what stored in the loft for the last almost ten years. I’m determined very little if anything will go back. Mr C on the other hand says he’s just interested to know what’s there. Wish me luck.

Need to call a Welsh recycling centre to check if non local cars are allowed in. Our friend needs help emptying her shed, we’ll go across with one of our sons and begin some time soon. Suspect several trips will be needed.

Take care everyone. Hope Thursday is kind to us all.

Good morning from Essex by the sea. It's still dark so I'm not sure what the weather is doing.
Food shopping this morning and a visit to the charity shop to drop off a couple of bags. My decluttering has begun.
I had a lovely long chat with DD2 yesterday evening and a few words with the birthday girl. Her and her sister are back to school today. They have to leave by 7.40 so a shock to the system after the Christmas break.
I hope everyone has a good day xx

Good morning all from a mild Torbay.

No rain yesterday so we managed a walk through the nearby parks before I had an hour long, online, cardio support meeting (via Teams) with five other cardiac convalescents on Stress and Anxiety. This replaces actual classes to attend which would have been available in the past. It was led by a psychologist but with Q and A to encourage us to participate. People seemed reluctant to join in apart from one man and me.

My DD2 is ringing soon en route to work so I’m looking forward to hearing about their recent short break in Lanzarote, taken as compensation for the Australian trip being cancelled due to the travel company going into liquidation.

Have a good day, everyone! 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Good morning all from the Black country, curtains not open yet so don't know what weather doing but rain predicted for this evening.
Early start today DH taking a friend who no longer can drive for a doctors appointment.
Carvery planned for our evening meal so yippee no cooking, a 50% voucher was issued would be a shame not to use it.
Best wishes for anyone celebrating, safe travels those on the move and virtual hugs where needed.
Enjoy your Thursday everyone and may you all find some 🌞.

Good morning everyone from Severnside. Dark and wet again. Warmer this morning though.

I’m up earlier than usual as I have a very early physio appointment at the hospital. I’ll then pop into town and also call to see if my friend is home.

Have a good day all 🦩🌸

Good morning all from Glasgow. Still dark and very quiet outside, so much milder too so fingers crossed no more heavy frosts.

The forecast of torrential rain didn’t happen yesterday until I was leaving Waitrose when the heavens opened and quickly headed home, blow dry still intact.
Our forecast ahead is for rain, rain and more rain. Grr.

An at home day today doing the usual foutering about and some craft work.

Hoping a pleasant day is ahead for all.

Good morning from a still dark, dry E Kent. The nights are oddly warm here for this time of year.
Had a quiet day yesterday, knitting, pottering…. I made some French onion soup which will last me several days for lunch. I also made a Roscon de los Reyes. It is huge. I shall take bags with me to give the class pieces to take home. It was a new recipe, MD, I’ll send it to you if it is up to standard but was a bit of a faff.
Spanish today, I’m finding it increasingly difficult as my memory seems to be going.
The estate agent who valued my house called me to say he probably had a buyer for the house. It’s the third set of people wanting the house, without it even being on the market! Should be a doddle to sell, it’s all the other legal stuff which takes forever.
Have a good day one and all. Keep the old chin up. Carpe diem. 🦩🦩🦩

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but its dry outside here in brackley this morning.
Yesterday went to Bicester , and my usual bakery cafe was closed , so I have decided to give Bicester a miss until next week , as we seem to be in holiday type period with nothing in full swing.
Take Care,
