I haven't any suggestions as to what you might buy, but you could have a day out, wandering and mooching, then buying something that really catches your fancy.

I found around £400 in various places a few months ago and another £80 this weekend. The latter amount will have to go to a bank to be changed but that was a very pleasant surprise.

I still have another room to declutter so who knows? I need not worry about paying my energy bills for a short time.

I was once having a clear out and found a handbag to take to the charity shop. A quick check of the various compartments revealed £100! I must have taken it out of an ATM and forgotten it.
It is always worth tidying out.

Wow how lovely! My clear outs are more likely to find something deeply unpleasant……a dirty sock, chewed bone left by the dog etc etc etc.

I once borrowed a small suitcase from my grandma and found £100 in a side pocket. I did tell my grandma but she told me to keep it! I think my sister was very jealous!
