Maybe she gives them a "Count down" to hit the spot.
If her brain was as big as her self-esteem she would have got a first in Astro Physics.

Hot on the heels of Prince Harry oversharing intimate details of his life we now have Carol Vorderman appearing on 2 daytime programmes letting the public know how free she feels since deciding she would not have just one male relationship in her life, but 5 “special friends” . (‘Friends with benefits’ in other words).
We discuss other TV revelations on GN and I wonder what do you think of this one?

She’s not someone I’m keen on either - I remember she had a very fake laugh on Countdown. As for her f**k-buddies - TMI.
To each her own, if everyone is single, but keep it from my ears and eyes.
"Have more than thou showest,
Speak less than thou knowest,
Lend less than thou owest,
Ride more than thou goest,
Learn more than thou trowest,
Set less than thou throwest."
Hmm - could get a little confusing. Wasn't there an old music hall song entitled "Let me call you sweetheart, I keep forgetting your name"?

CV has a highly profitable maths website
for children along with companion books and videos The Maths Factor this is very helpful to lots of children especially during lockdown.
As for having special friends it’s her life to live as long as she is not hurting/harming anyone.
I bought Carol Vordermann Maths books in Lidl for the DGC and they were very good.
I don't care how many special friends (how twee) she has as long as she doesn't keep thinking we all want to know about it.
That's very true, GrannyGravy, and good luck to her.
I think what people are saying though, is that there is no need for her to tell the rest of the world about her sex life. Is there?

Does she advise keeping a spreadsheet?
Love it!!Absolutely brilliant! 😆
Considering people's plans change frequently at the last minute - she'd probably have to update it on a fairly regular basis.
She could even turn it into a pie chart...
It seems to be the latest thing for older women to want to let the world and his wife know they are still sexy and available.
I couldn't care less how many toyboys she beds. If she really wants to ensure as many people as possible know about it she can always video her exploits and put them on social media.
I wonder if she thought that leaving Countdown would bring a brilliant career, but has been disappointed? She went from being on TV every day to needing to find opportunities to push herself onto the headlines (well, into the papers, anyway), and she's running out of options.
She was good at what she did on Countdown, but it was limited, and it's not clear what else she thinks she can do. The financial products ads are awful - partly as it's so obvious she wouldn't need a funeral plan or something to leave a couple of thousand to her loved ones, but also as she's had so much Botox she can hardly speak. I think that if people want to have cosmetic surgery it's up to them, but her figure is a parody of the female form, and she seems to me to have self-esteem issues.
The old Carol had a 'girl next door' image, and that, coupled with the maths USP was a good combo. My children had a videotape of her singing and dancing along to times tables set to the pop somgs of the time. It drove me mad, but they loved it, and it was educational. If she'd tapped into that sort of thing, she could have been the Delia Smith of maths, and had a career for life. All of that's up to her of course, but I wish she'd keep her sex life to herself.
I don't like her. She is far too full of herself.

Yuk, just yuk. This would fit on the over sharing celebrities thread of a few days ago.
My feeling too.
I've no objections to the way anyone conducts their love-life as long as they're not hurting anyone and everyone is happy with whatever the arrangement is.
But what is this need to tell the world at large? Is it attention-seeking - oh-look-at-me-aren't-I-the-zany-one? Is it boasting? Do such celebrities think the rest of us who aren't high-profile individuals are in need of some sort of blue-print of how to live the high-life?
Then there's the tabloid stories about young women who declare to the world that they are so beautiful they have to suffer the outrage of other women who are afraid their husbands will want to sleep with them - complete with a photo' illustrating a trouty-pout and body-hugging top. "It's difficult when you're very pretty" they simper.
Ye Gods, what is wrong with people?
Of course, it's pure click-bait in the media, but why do people - especially women - fall for it and allow themselves to be exploited in such a way?
I quite despair sometimes.
Yep, same here. Bovvered moi, nope.
She can do what she wants- but I don't want to hear of know about it.
Why do these people think we need to know about their sex lives? I agree with Germanshepherdsmum yuk .
I'm tired of seeing Carol Vorderman in the media as well. Very rarely is it for anything worthwhile but merely flaunting herself. That seems to be the norm for younger people but maybe Carol should give us all a break now.
She is a lady of extremes as just last July she was sharing (through appearances on a “Menopause Bus”) how the menopause had made her feel suicidal.
Maybe she gives them a "Count down" to hit the spot.

It seems a little like someone who finds a cult/religion and is so excited by it they want to share the revelation with everyone else.
I for one do not think I am missing out. 😱

I'm very disappointed in Carol Vorderman. She's got a high IQ and a good brain, but all she seems to do these days is take selfies wearing tight revealing clothing and boasting about her sex life.
It all seems a bit immature to me.
I agree with you. She is worth much more than this cheap publicity stunt, surely?
Over sharing things so personal to stay in the public eye is very distasteful to me. But everyone is different I suppose.
Perhaps it is low self esteem that makes people feel the need to tell everyone about their personal lives. Very odd
There was a time when some very derogatory things would be said about her morals. If she’s so in need of publicity that she stoops to this, work must be very thin on the ground. I wonder how many other ‘friends’ each of her ‘friends’ has, so how many people she’s effectively sleeping with? As I said before, yuk.

I'd be worried about getting their name right in the throes of passion.
"Dave, oh Dave, you're so wonderful"
"Actually, it's Tuesday and it's Joe"
Ring any bells, Callistemon?

Wonder how her children feel about all this putting it all out there, my family would be considering how quickly they could get me sectioned😳
It reminds me of a play I went to see back in the 70s. It was called Boeing Boeing starring the lovely Richard O'Sullivan as an airline pilot or steward who was engaged to three women and got himself into a pickle trying to keep them apart. No such problems for Carol apparently.
I m afraid I don’t take to the woman at all I think she’s a real attention seeker and think she looks awful with that tightened face I also am extremely unsure of her genius abilities
People like her make me cringe She must be very damaged to feel the need to boast of having sex with five ‘friends’ at the age of 62 what is she trying to prove ?
