Never sure when Mick is back, or whether to start a thread. Anyway, here goes.
I had a viewing at lunchtime yesterday, so was on tenterhooks all the time I was out at my WI needle craft group. I did manage to produce the sample of cathedral window patchwork we were being taught. The organisers try to teach us something new each month.
I checked my phone constantly…. When home, there were still no messages, texts or emails. About an hour later, the state agent said the viewers had loved the house, were happy to pay the full asking price, but needed their own buyers to up their offer a bit. As he is dealing with that sale sale too and is very charming, I think we have a sale on the books. That would be perfect- no real hassle, no people fossicking through my house, etc. if I have a sale before my own purchase, I’d move and rent or camp at DD’s.
Today, I had a rotten night, got Spanish layer, then cakes to bake for a charity coffee morning. Shall be making the latest flavour of the month - biscoff cup cakes.
