That's two days running I've started my day being confronted by details of the state of someone's bowels. Why would anyone inflict this upon others? Keep detail of your bowel explosions to yourself. Please! (Or at least warn in the topic title that it is intimate and medical and gross)

Good Morning Wednesday 15th February 2023
(62 Posts)Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark as usual but dry , and the days are starting to get lighter earlier as well here in brackley.
Yesterdays stay in with diarrhea worked , I chose to eat little ,and as yet no more stomach upsets.
Today, plan to visit Bicester , if it remains dry for a couple of hours .
Return home ,and relax plus housework .
Take Care,
Mick
Good morning all. A pretty sunrise on the Angus coast but a bit of drizzle forecast for mid morning. Think I'll hang the washing out anyway - it'll dry eventually, and with that lovely smell of outdoors.
That first flat you looked at doesn't sound like "the one" grandmattie. Take your time. There's one with your name on it waiting to be found.
Glad you're feeling better today Mick.
Thank you for the kind comments about my beach photos yesterday. We are so fortunate round here - three separate beaches on the doorstep, the glens just a short drive inland, and a choice of three cities within easy driving distance.
Another day of not-a-lot, just ironing and paperwork and reading. My days (wonderful ones) of childminding are long past, but your stories of your screaming dogs reminded me of my DGD3 Grandmabatty. She was a canny wee lass, and when deciding it was time to stage a 'protest' would look around for the least uncomfortable spot before lowering herself down gently - and only then screaming blue murder!
Glad it's going to be a less strenuous day for you today grandmab.
Enjoy your days everyone x
Good morning from North Yorkshire. It’s very misty again…or should that be still as it didn’t clear yesterday. Driving along the country roads to History Society was interesting. How different everything seems in the dark and mist!
Today I am taking a friend to her eye appointment and doing a bit of shopping.
Hope you find somewhere lovely to live GM.
Enjoy your meet up GG13 etc.
Yorkshire ladies we need to plan another one soon!
Have a good day everyone.
Lovely morning so must get into the garden while I can but no other plans so will see the day unfold.
Vertigo is miserable so hope it clears soon, Marydoll; otherwise wishing everyone a good enough day.
Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
Enjoyed hosting our music club yesterday, quite a big turn out, so quite a few names, some new to remember. The internet there is now not connecting so my reserved download backings are coming through connected Bluetooth and I cannot reserve them, so have to go through the lot for my choices.
Nice handmade valentine from close male friend.
Off tonight to new folk club in pub, so looking forward to that and having a clean up before sister arrives tomorrow.
Glad your tummy has settled Mick and hope you find a flat you like grandMattie.
Morning from S Hants, 5 and rain due later. How lovely Ash great timing too!
Good luck today gMattie.
I have the dentist for a denture check, hairdresser later.
Missing Blossoming too.
Have a good day all 🦩🦩
Enjoy your meet up GG13, Sar53 and Gingster! Bet the 3 of you have a great time!
Good morning, Michael and all GNs from a blue sky South Yorkshire with just a little cirrus cloud in the mix. Frosty though. GS has just arrived for visit Nans round two. He made a good job of cleaning my little car yesterday. We made a shepherds pie for tea. Today we are gardening but he has homework and some other stuff to do. I am making hay while the sun shines - time is coming when he’ll be too busy to spend his time with me! I also have some paperwork to sort out today.
Ash what a lovely surprise for OD!😊
Have the best day you can folks!
Good morning all from a cloudy and windy Glasgow, where its 7°C.
A bit of a nothing day yesterday, the vertigo came back with a vengeance, so the morning was spent in bed! What a waste of a day.
There us no pattern for these attacks.
Today, I have asked DH to take me to the GP surgery, to collect my jury exemption letter and yet another prescription. It's so frustrating not being able to drive.
The surgery did offer to post it out, (surprisingly efficient), but I would rather collect it, Royal Mail is so reliable at the moment.
DH tried to insist on going alone, but I need to get out of prison, even if only on day release, and he can't be trusted. 😉
I am however, a little apprehensive, after the Sainsbury's debacle on Friday.
GG and Sar, enjoy your meet up! The Glesca Grannies are having one in March, but sadly I doubt if I will be well enough to go.
I usually organise them and this will be the first one I have ever missed. 😞
Miracles do happen, you never know!
GM, I hope you have a successful house hunting day. An unexpected surprise to be met at the station.
Karmalady, I'm intrigued by the spinning. Do you actually have alpacas?
Ash, what a lovely thought, Oldduders must have been delighted.
I woke up forgetting it was Valentine's day, despite the 13th of February, being the day we were unofficially engaged. (Too afraid to tell my my parents after only three months)
I have totally lost track of the days.
However, DH had bought me a lovely gift.
Fortunately, I had a bottle of good whisky in my present stash, so he was none the wiser! 😉
We have a lovely, young relief postman, who covers our regular postman.
Our postman knocked the door yesterday to tell this 31 year old man had committed suicide. I just couldn't stop thinking about it for the rest of the day. 😪
Wishing you all a pleasant day and of course thinking of those, who are poorly.
A hello to Blossoming, who hasn't been posting over the last few days.
Good Morning from Severnside. It looks a nice enough start to the day.
I got my jobs done and then went out into the garden. I took the top off my climbing hydrangea so now I will be able to keep it trimmed up more easily. Left the mess where it was as my green bin is full.
Today I hope to gather up some things for decluttering and then go out for a few hours this afternoon.
Have a good day all 🌼
Good morning from a dry NE where it is 4 degrees.
Managed to get the washing and ironing done despite my painful back.
SIL coming today and we will do the shopping, think he will leave a bit earlier tonight as DD is coming to the UK by train and he will probably pick her up at Newcastle Station.
Have a good day.
Good morning from Durham - it was very windy earlier but seems calmer now. Must go out today, cold or not, as there was a mix up with my new car keys and the garage still has a set. At least being stuck in the house means I’m up to date with admin and ordered 8 rolls of wallpaper for my chap coming next month.
Best wishes to all. X
Here’s Matt.
Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s light, bright but frosty. We are taking my stepfather to M&S food hall at midday after Himself has been to have routine over 70’s bloods done at the doctor’s surgery. This afternoon I have a manicure booked and tonight friends from Bolton (they are neighbours in Málaga) are coming over. We are going out for drinks then a curry.
All in all, a nice day. 😊
Enjoy Wednesday all. x
Good morning from another misty Suffolk. Hoping that the sun appears soon and is as glorious as it was yesterday. Off to my keep fit class soon. After my friend’s charity lunch yesterday, choice of 5 soups and a huge wedge of a delicious very light chocolate sponge with cream both inside and on top,I cerrtainly need it!
Hope today is a good one for all.
Good morning from my bit of Leicestershire where it is not too foggy and where I can see a bit of blue sky.
We are also off on the motorway but in the opposite direction to dragonfly. We are going to Denby Village and the big yellow warehouse.
Good morning.
I’m hoping that the mist and frost disappear and the sun comes out as I’m out for the day with DD3 and the boys.
Hope Wednesday is good to you all especially those with illness or other worries.
Morning Mick, morning All. A chilly, clear start to our corner of Somerset with the promise of rain late afternoon.
Thoroughly enjoyed a trip along the coast yesterday including an excellent breakfast and a walk on an almost deserted beach in warm sunshine. Back to routine today, dust to remove and ironing with my name on it. Conservatory installer coming late afternoon to look at a mystery small damp patch on an end wall. When we called in to his office with photos to chat about it he took one look and said ‘I might have known it would be yours!’
Enjoy what you can of the day everyone. Hope Wednesday is kind to us all.
Good morning from East Yorkshire.
Had a lovely lunch out yesterday at the fish restaurant. I had stone bass. New to me but delicious. Later in the day a man came to quote for decorating. He can start on Monday eek or we have to wait till mid April. I’m not sure I can cope with the work being done at such short notice. We have 2 more coming today to quote so hopefully they can fit us in at a more convenient date.
Apart from that we are having GS from mid morning onwards as he is now recovered from the sickness bug he had. Not sure if we will have GD too she has taken longer to recover and is very sleepy and clingy with Mum.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning from Glasgow. 6deg. and cloudy but if the rain stays off I can spend some time in the garden.
A lovely surprise call from GD2 late yesterday afternoon. She had spent some time shopping in Glasgow with friends and wondered if we would like a visit and if so, could I collect her from our local railway station…she knew the answer would be, of course. Now that exams are over and she received an unconditional place at Edinburgh University, one of her top choices, she is a happy bunny. Nothing on her social calendar today, she stayed at ours and I will take her home at some point later today.
Best wishes to all for a good day.
Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 6°, breezy and dry. Rain is forecast later though. Ash what a thoughtful gift. Karmalady you are very busy! Brook enjoy your catch up later. And the ladies who are meeting today, have a nice time. Sar, Gingster and Grannygravy.
Yesterday was a struggle, I admit. Dgs1 had a major meltdown in the park when we had to go home. Dgs2 was needing a nap and screaming -again. There were so many people who looked sympathetically as I tried to get dgs1 to calm down. That fifteen minutes walk to the car was not fun. Dd was horrified and said she would take a half day which I told her not to do. We did get over it but oh dear, it was hard going. My problem was taking them before dgs2 has his nap. He can go without in the afternoon better so change of plans for the future.
Today the most strenuous activity will be driving to visit my friend later this morning. I shall quietly potter the rest of the day. Have a good day all.
Good morning all from a brightening south Hants where it’s currently 2 degrees.
grandMattie glad you arrived safely. Shame the hamper didn’t come. Hopefully today. It’s good that you’re seeing a mixture of flats and that one is a 2 bed (despite the cost). It’ll give you something to compare against. Don’t be rushed into making a decision. If you don’t find anything then consider renting for a while. It’ll give you a chance to check out the areas - plus then you’d be a cash buyer when something does come along.
Today I need to do a food shop and then have a play date with 2 of the GDs.
Enjoy your day all. Thinking of those that are poorly🦩🦩
🤗 and 🌻🌻 for you all x
Good morning from a cloudy Leicestershire, at least it is not foggy as we plan a trip down the motorway to the large M&S.
After that an Ocado delivery.
Hoping every one has a good day.
Good morning, s somerset is a mixed bag today, sunny morning and some rain this afternoon. Weed seeds will think it is spring
I was busy yesterday all morning and pressure washed my very big and green patio, lots of planter stands to move but good exercise and very satisfying and it was a treat to be out so long, even had my coffee outside and cleaned up my new patio strawberries, I have 50 plants and they will give me enough berries to eat and freeze
I did spin two hanks of alpaca and in process did too much straining of my thumb and forefinger. No spinning today, just prep of those two hanks, ready for a hat. A group meeting this morning
Good morning from a cold, foggy Colchester. Much like yesterday it's forecast to be sunny and mild later.
I am out to the Wednesday coffee meetup in the city centre and DH is off fishing.
We had a Thai takeaway as a Valentine's treat yesterday and were shocked by the price increase. I'll get some "fakeaways" for the freezer next time.
Love to all 🦩 x
Good morning all and it’s a pink skyed one here.
Looking forward to our lunch ladies. 👍.
Dh is going fishing so I’ll walk up as I won’t have the car.
Glad you’re feeling better Mick.
Enjoy the day!
