Oh, and I took a couple of “wonky pills” and seemed to have stopped the labyrinthitis . 🤞🤞

Good morning from Bristol. I was very tired last night and had the beginnings of labyrinth so seem to have slept much, hence late (for me) posting.
My journey was easy and predictable, I had the lovely surprise of SiL and Iris collecting me from the station.
We had an unexpected viewing in the evening. The flat was nice enough and very cheap but set in a very urban area and the building amd setting were rather shabby. It was rather depressing.
Today we are viewing another three I think, including one two-bed place which costs almost as much as my 4 bed house! The girls have suggested I needed a solid gold door handle before moving in!
I was disappointed that the afternoon tea was never delivered, despite a string of texts. today perhaps.
I’ve not read any of the posts yet, but wish you all a lovely day.. Carpe diem/horam. ❤️🦩🦩🦩

Good morning all from a slightly frosty Black country.
Early start today DiL not well along with the little one, so she as asked if I can cover her place at playgroup. With up to 15 little ones I'm glad we've got a meal booked for later I'll be shattered.
Glad Mick if feeling a bit better.
GrannyGravy enjoy your meet up.
Will pop back to catch up later, enjoy your day everyone and may you all find some ☀️.

Good morning from a milder day in Essex by the sea.
DH is off to London later to meet up with an old work colleague.
I am having lunch with two lovely local gransnetters.
I have some admin to attend to first thing.
Enjoy your day everyone xx

Good morning everyone from Inverness, it’s mild at about 8º, sounds windy and there’s rain forecast for later
Good you’re feeling a bit better today mick
What a lovely treat for your DH Ash, pleased it arrived safely plus the other parcel too
A busy day for me today, we’ve got DGD still asleep here after yesterdays sleepover, so we’ll do the school run and then I’ll go to the gym. There’s a couple of different classes on that I enjoy plus the pool so I’ll be there most of the morning. I’m meeting my pal for coffee and a catch up this afternoon so I’ll be needing a long sit down and a rest!
Hoping everyone finds something to enjoy today and take care all whatever the day brings 💐

Morning Mick and all

The cleaning Fairies are here today yippee.

The highlight of my day is meeting up with two lovely Gransnetters at lunchtime. It is many months since we last met and an awful lot to catch up with.

Our garden has been tidied, but we are awaiting news of when our renovations begin so there is little I can do.

Have a good day folks 🙋‍♀️🦩

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. I am about to leap out of bed into the shower. The decorators are due at 8 am. I have bits of admin to do ready for tonight’s WI meeting. Someone is coming to talk to us about mosaics. I will also chase the curtains I ordered last month for the ‘new’ room. Have a good day.

Good morning from the South Downs. 3c expected to rise to low teens sunny windless and dry. My sort of weather🙂.

I envy your garden progress blueb I was having to spend the day putting everything back from storage, by the time I’d finished I was too tired to go into the garden, but it was a glorious day.

Decorators today. I think at a minimum I shall sit out in the garden enjoying the sun and peace, but really need to get on with mulching etc.

Enjoy these lovely early spring days everyone. Garden is beginning to awaken - so lucky to appreciate it free from the horrors so many who are suffering in the world.

Good morning everyone, there’s frost on the car roofs here in Wiltshire.
I enjoyed my time in the garden yesterday, cutting back clematis and climbing roses, tidying a flowerbed and generally loving being outside in sunshine- apparently it’s going to be raining by lunchtime today and for the next few days!
Today more of the same this morning then I’m going to sit and knit this afternoon with a pot of tea and listen to my audiobook. Bliss!

Good morning from a calm but cloudy Torbay.

Usually, DH organises a lovely bouquet from a reliable local florist to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. This year I decided to spoil him for a change so ordered a (mostly) savoury hamper due to arrive via DPD at lunchtime yesterday. Coincidentally, he had ordered some model railway items, also due yesterday via courier (APC). He was impressed by the information about the whereabouts of his expected parcel. I let him explain how that worked whilst watching the progress of my order for him at the same time on my laptop! I was delighted that the treat I’d ordered arrived first and happened to be in a similar sized box.

DH met the delivery guy at the door and came in, carrying what he thought was his expected parcel, whilst claiming that APC must be the same as DPD!! I just sat and smiled to myself! His face was a picture when he opened it up!! I was so glad I had had the opportunity to treat him as a small token of appreciation for his patience, care and encouragement to me over recent months.

And, yes, the other parcel duly arrived later!

I’m glad you’re feeling better, Mick, but try to take things carefully today.

I hope grandMattie arrived safely in Bristol and everyone has a good day.

Happy hump day, everyone! 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark as usual but dry , and the days are starting to get lighter earlier as well here in brackley.
Yesterdays stay in with diarrhea worked , I chose to eat little ,and as yet no more stomach upsets.
Today, plan to visit Bicester , if it remains dry for a couple of hours .
Return home ,and relax plus housework .
Take Care,
Mick
