Good morning from breezy East Yorkshire. Another one still feeling very tired. This work in the house is taking its toll. Still a way to go.

I am having GS for a few hours this morning. This afternoon DH and I are going to a matinee show at one of our local theatres. I bought him the tickets for a Christmas present. Might have tea out after as I won’t feel like cooking.

Ash I think you have a perfect arrangement! Time together and your own space appeals 🤣

Morning all

Breezy here in my corner of S E Essex.

Off to indoor soft play centre with the 8yr old and The Imp this morning (must remember to have paracetamol in my bag as no doubt the noise level will be high). Then DH and I are going to a local(ish) Thai Restaurant for dinner, very authentic all the staff are from Thailand and the food is delicious.

Have a Good Friday folks 🙋‍♀️🦩😘

In the middle of IKEA. (Don’t know why it keeps on posting!). We were just looking at all sorts of furniture especially wardrobes.
The vendors haven’t come back yet, which is very stressful, but the EA says that shared POA is involved. Second viewing after iris’s RDA gymkhana. 🤞
The Valentine’s Day hamper has yet appears, courier is not pleased at being blamed!
Have a good day all. Carpe diem/horam 🦩🦩🦩

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 11° and quite windy. Susan poor wee boy. I hope he's better today. Karma I'm another one saying be careful in the loft. Ladyleftfieldlover enjoy your day.
Yesterday I had a busy time at art class and produced three pieces, all unfinished of course. I can't say I'm happy with any of them.
Today I'm having dgs2 for a couple of hours. Dd is getting some beauty treatment. I'll have to get food at some point too. Have a good day all.

Good Morning everyone from Severnside where the dark grey clouds are moving swiftly to the east.

A weekly shopping day for me although I don’t need much.
Careful up in your loft karmalady. I need to go up in mine. I think a basket from Beechnutella’s childhood is up there and it would be good for arranging things in craft wise.

Yesterday I spent many hours rejigging my craft room. There is still quite a bit to do sorting out my drawers and some boxes but I’m getting there I’m pleased to say. A good thing that came out of it was that I found my star cutting dies and another set of dies that I didn’t know where missing 😀

Have a good day all whatever you are doing 💐🦩

Good morning from Shropshire.

I’m glad the hospital are keeping you informed about what is going on Mick.

We have another day of childcare today.Nothing planned as poor H was unwell after his boosters yesterday, very emotional as well😳School pick up for M this afternoon.Half term next week and so no childcare for us.We will probably see them all but we won’t be in charge!

I have been thinking of all our missing good morning friends and hoping all are ok💐

Have the best day everyone🦩

Good morning from a grey but mild Colchester. It's 11° feels like 6 (because of the breeze), according to my weather app, and rising to 15 later.
A stock up of the fridge this morning. It's hard to plan meals as DS's plans keep changing at the last minute. It's taken me over 2 years but I'm just getting used to being a military mum.
Thinking of GNs further north in Storm Otto.
Love to all 🦩 x

Morning all from Kew! Elder son’s partner has already gone to work and he will leave soon. My daughter will arrive around 10 am and it will be a fun packed day - I hope - with my granddaughter! At some point we have to watch a gymnastics display. A visit to the Gardens is on the list. I need to stock up on honey marmalade. Back home our gardener should be calling in for an hour or so. Have a good day.

Good morning all from North Leicestershire. The weather seems unremarkable so far.

This morning I need to go to the butcher's and to the egg farm before I help on a Carer's zoom course this afternoon. We are expecting DD3 to bring her 3 for an overnight stay while she and her DH go out with friends.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning from a very windy Northern Yorkshire. Woken by the wind when I thought we were being broken into with the banging noises of the sash windows. DH has brought me a cuppa, he is going out over the Humber Bridge later which is closed to everything except cars. I hate wind, it’s so destructive. A busy day for me, hair cut, new lenses in specs, the twins for a few hours this afternoon, then off to Scarborough to buy a twin buggy, secondhand to keep at ours. Looks in good condition and will sell it on when we’re done with it hopefully. Looking fwd to feet up tonight and my Friday treat of G&T. Good luck with your day everyone.

Good morning from a dry NE where we have gale force winds. The dustbins are out ready for collection and they are blowing over, it is too noisy to sleep.
I don't think I will be doing any housework again today, my back is still troubling me.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning, s somerset is windy and dry and the soil is turning into workable for spring

I was busy all day yesterday, edible stuff for my freezer and fridge. I planted a hardy pretty bush in my front garden as all my variegated hebe were kille off in the freeze. Spinning zwarbles wool was very pleasureable later in the day. I also added a cleaner powder to my dishwasher and washing machine on hot long washes and cleaned them both

So today I am expecting a set of real bed linen, the pricey once in a lifetime type. I was short of one set for the spare bed and bit the bullet. I wish I could have had these linens twenty years ago, they are so nice

Once that parcel comes, then I am gritting my teeth and will go into the loft, to finish a maintenance job that was needed. Everything should be bone dry now and I am going to replace all the yanked up insulation. I want it to look neat with all parts covered, that is why I am gritting my teeth as it is a balancing, contorting act, all while breathing through a mask

Good morning from a cloudy, mild Torbay.

It sounds like the hospital is keeping you well informed about your surgery, Mick, which is reassuring.

Yesterday, I visited a different salon for a cut and colour as my hairdresser closed down back in October. My hair was desperately in need of some TLC! I’m happy with the result and the salon is closer to my home although the prices are higher. The staff were friendly but professional and they have an excellent coffee machine!

In answer to Gwenisgreat1, DH and I agreed when we were planning our future that we would prefer to remain in our respective countries. He is happily settled in France and I have my life (Theatre/church, etc) here, besides family in the Midlands/NW. Since Brexit, it would be much more difficult for me to be a permanent resident in France. olddudders has a Carte de Sejour which allows him to reside there permanently. It suits us although it seems unusual to others.

The weekend starts here…..as they used to say on Ready, Steady, Go!! 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩
