Pearls of wisdom and do you have any?

On reading your post on housework VioletSky it reminded me of advice 90yr old Madge gave me.I said I was going to do the dusting.Her reply...dust,don't talk to me about dust,just kick it around and loose it.A second bit of advice...don't do too much for your husband and by best the third one came when she was whispering to another lady on the minibus. I asked what they were gossiping about.Madge said I'm not telling you,oh all right I will,the secret to long life is eat well,sleep well and shit well.I was shocked for a second and I helped her down the steps and off she went laughing her head off!! She lived until she was 104,so advice was very good!!!
