Break a match. At least that's what my ex father in law always did if two things broke.

Perhaps your sweet dog will need to be looked at for eating a box? I hope not, but we may as well move in to a Veterinary hospital. smile

Not enough that my car needs a major ABS repair - and not very promising news about how soon it can be done , this morning I heard a crash/bang from one of the windows. I assumed that another kamikaze pigeon had flown into it and hoped it had got nothing worse than a sore head. Had a good look around the front of the house for a corpse and was relieved not to find one.
Then I found the broken glass.
The outer “skin” of the fanlight of the en suite window was cracked in half a dozen places and had a big jagged hole.
Fortunately the inner “skin” is intact or it would be a bit draughty.
I can’t believe a bird hit it hard enough to break the glass and survive , but can think of no other explanation.
So, what’s the betting for what’s next - dishwasher? Washing machine?
