I am always alone, being divorced and childfree by choice. Love it!

Ive just finished an incredibly busy period in one of my online shops. I had to stay up all night to pack parcels. This weekend I am spoiling myself. I went to bed at 2 pm (as soon as Royal Mail had collected) and got up at 8 and had a leasurely shower. Been binge watching a TV series and enjoying doing nothing much.

Tomorrow I will be bored with the TV and probably back to unpacking new stock.

I don't want an empty house

I just want some relaxation for a few hours

I used to long for an “empty” , to have the house to myself , even the few hours while paw had his weekly blood transfusions.

Be careful what you wish for.

Half term was hectic for me, some children staying, others just coming for a day, and one of our adult children visiting.
So today, a very long catch up with a friend, a pile of ironing, and this evening Happy Valley, and my book.
Batteries definitely needed charging.

I love being on my own. The pandemic was bliss. 🤭

Being alone is great - when you know it isn’t permanent!

I has this afternoon to myself. It was lovely.

I had the papers, catch up tv, a cuppa and a scone. Bliss.

Yes, you did (disturb). I'm never happier than when I'm on my own. Give me plenty to read, my favourite music and some decent snacks and I'm as happy as a pig in the proverbial!

Yes you’ve spelt it correctly.

Listening to or reading a book. Catching up on films I’ve not had a chance to look at. If you want to go out, maybe go to the cinema.

I need a break. I need it.

I still have 3 children at home and a husband though. So I plan on asking for an evening to myself...
DO NOT DISTURB.

What is your perfect evening at home? What would you do?
What are your ideas to have some proper relaxing alone time?

Also did I spell disturb right? It looks wrong
