Good morning from a cloudy Torbay, I think!

I think the hospital will provide enough nurses for planned surgery, Mick. I do hope so.

What a busy day, grandMattie; I’m tired just from reading it!!

We shall set off soon for Newton Abbot on the first stage of DH’s journey home to France. Thank goodness the Border Force staff are no longer on strike!

Have a good day, whatever befalls! 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

I forgot. It’s Shrove Tuesday today. Happy “flipping”!

Good morning from a dark, overcast E Kent.
I hope you don’t get caught up in next week’s strikes, Mick 🤞🤞🤞
I still feel fairly rubbish today, no it is just a cold; I have tested -ve several times.
I was swamped with calls yesterday re. selling house and buying flat. The solicitor warned me that I may not sell and buy the same day, as leases are notoriously slow, the freeholders are never in a hurry! Grrr.
All this movement means I’m very busy today. Doctor first thing for m6 hearing (appointment made weeks ago), then visit to solicitor to sign various papers. Then I’m taking the tai chi class today as our leader has car problems. Straight after, I have a long-standing visit to the chiropodist, and as I come home after that, I’ve got the buyers’ structural surveyor coming. Phew.
If I don’t appear tomorrow, that’ll be why! 😂
Hope today brings more signs of spring to all, hope and joy.
Carpe diem/horam 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from a dry, overcast south Cornwall where a clattering lorry has already emptied Domino's bins across the road and the cafe next door will be putting out their pavement tables and chairs soon. I love hearing the town centre come alive. This morning I'm seeing a friend for coffee and am at my youngest son's for pancakes after my grandson gets back from school. Yum! wink

Good morning Mick, what a frustrating day yesterday was for you, I hope everything goes ahead as planned.
Yesterday my GP appointment was postponed because the doctor was unwell so it’s next Monday now.
It’s another wet start here in Wiltshire, drizzling in the dark.
I have the dentist this morning for a filling (I hate going to the dentist!) then, after a poor night, I don’t think I will be fit for much 😵‍💫
I have some polyanthus to plant in a trough by the back door and to do a bit more tidying in the garden.
Hoping for sunshine ☀️

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry out there in brackley hopefully mild as well .
I never ventured far yesterday doing bits and bobs in my flat plus watching cycling and was awaiting a phone call from the hospital in banbury as a pre op assessment over the phone, which never happened.
My main worry next week if my surgery goes ahead is the strikes which are taking place .
Take Care,
Mick
