So once you've been a GN member for a whilte, been around the block a few times, you'll have witnessed some feeding frenzies on controversial topics.

Some of those I remember from yester year are:

* Baby milk shortage (being bought up and sold overseas)

* Boris Johnson (at one point praised for his intelligence, yes, really!)

* Jeremy Corbyn (a real Marmite character)

*Anything to do with trans issues.

What are some of the topics that have caused metaphorical fisticuffs that you remember?

Two out of three. Guess which two!

Me too, Gagajo! I'd like to have a small, tasteful tattoo somewhere not too obvious to celebrate finally getting my State Pension this summer, but my DH is not keen on them. Mind you, he probably wouldn't notice it if I did! I thought a rose on my left shoulder. wink

I could imagine dogsh*t and artificial grass would be a match made in hell …

Absolutely. Imagine it mashed in. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

You have to pressure wash artificial grass to get dog shit out.

Apparently.

1st two yes, although the tattoo is not noticable day to day, it is on my back and small.
The sausages I can take or leave, I only eat them if I have a full English out.

Yes, lots of people, including me! I find leggings easier to put on than tights and wear them tucked into boots with dresses. Sausage, mash and onion gravy is delicious, and so comforting in this weather.

DGC funny sayings. A perennial favourite.

Dogs in cafes

Breast feeding

DGP wanting to be present at the birth

I could go on

Artificial grass

Dog sh*t

Small packs of peeled ready vegetables - rather than to a sack of spuds

Golly bloody w*gs - that innocent childhood dolly

To name a few!
