Personally can't help thinking it's Meghan who wants the title 'Princess'
Meghan will weaponise and monetise everything about those children.
Within 3 years (tops) they won’t be together.

Hypocrites.
I haven't read all the posts so sorry if this has already been posted.
Now that Frogmore Cottage has been taken from H&M Harry doesn't have a UK address any more.
Also I read that if the US had known about his drug taking he wouldn't have been allowed in.
Neither is Meghan.
And she doesn't have any problems.
Apart from Harry.
I’ve had a few difficulties in my lifetime (haven’t we all?) so I wonder if someone would be prepared to pay me millions to share. Oh no, I’m not a princess! Oh well, I guess not!

An hilarious display, yet again, of hypocrisy. I believe Harry's response to a suggestion that he and Meghan give up their titles was 'What would be the point?' or words to that effect. As most of the population are beginning to wonder what the point is of Harry and Meghan, another attempt to gain publicity while demanding privacy simply keeps the ball rolling and invites more interviews.

Mostly I object to her being named the queen's childhood nickname.
I thought that was a passive aggressive act.
Absolutely.
It was dreadful. When I first read it (on here) I honestly thought that it was a joke. I couldn’t believe that they could be so crass.
I’ve been avoiding this thread up until now, because I’ve got such strong feelings.
God help those children, especially poor Princess Lilibet Diana.
What a loaded choice!
What a lot to live up to!
Named after probably the two most iconic women of the late 20th century.
I hope, that for their sake, the children take after their clever, tough as old boots mother; as opposed to their fragile, vulnerable father.

They are Prince and Princess, Blossom.
They weren't at birth but , because the grandchildren of the Monarch are entitled to the titles, they gained that right with death of the Queen.
Rightly or wrongly , they have as much right to be called Prince and Princess as Eugenie and Beatrice had while the Queen was alive .
But not all parents choose to take up the right on behalf of their children.

I read that Prince Philip called the late Queen ‘Cabbage’. What a shame they didn’t pick that nickname.
A brilliant suggestion!
Ah, how sweet!

Ironic that Harry chose to leave the UK to escape the toxic British press but now seems to endlessly court publicity. But then publicity equals money in the bank....
The announcement that the children are (quite legitimately) Prince and Princess is another claim on membership of the royal family to use in future as their selling power diminishes.
re all the unpleasant insinuations made in the Oprah interview that Archie was denied a title because he was of mixed race; whatever Meghan, and latterly Harry say, it is 'their' truth at that particular time and therefore not to be questioned.
Apologies for telling deliberate lies guaranteed to cause upset?
I don't think so.
And to get the gist of what Harry says:
He shares. He doesn't whine. He shares re his mental health struggles to be of service to others
He 'shares' and he 'whines' because he is getting paid to do so.
Harry ‘doesn’t whine’ and ‘shares re his mental health struggles to be of service to others’. Oh, perleease. Is Keffie12 actually Meghan?

They were entitled to those titles as soon as Charles was on the throne.
H & M have accepted those title's so the children have the choice as to whether they use them or not when they are older.
The title's won't be used unless it is formal settings as children. Harry doesn't use Prince anymore. It's the media that use it.
Harry has never said he hates the RF. He has said he doesn't like the behaviours of them, mainly the royal staff, the media and Camilla. Unfortunately William office in the past few years now too
He shares. He doesn't whine. He shares re his mental health struggles to be of service to others.
Harry and Megan have done and continue to do so much for mental health charities and more others besides.
You don't read about that here because it doesn't suit the media narrative, of hounding them
I could carry on. You get the jist
The name ‘Prince Harry’ is clearly written at the top of the cover of ‘Spare’. Presumably his choice - he wouldn’t do the media’s bidding. Even his doormat was spotted to have a royal cypher on it. I don’t think he is quite so humble as you suggest.
Actually Meghan can be called Princess. Princess Henry, like Princess Michael.
Remember when Meghan claimed Archie hadn’t been made a Prince when he was born due to racism? Zero idea how these things work.
Calendargirl
The Palace website will be updated ‘in due course’ apparently.
Seeing as they made a point of saying when Archie was born that they didn’t want him to have a title….
Oh, of course, his title then was just going to be ‘Earl of Dumbarton’, one of Harry’s ‘spare’ titles.
Doesn’t sound quite as posh as ‘Prince’ of course.
Yes, but as the direct descendants of the King are styled prince or princess, you can bet your bottom dollar that if Harry and Megan's children had not been so styled, Harry or Megan or both would have complained!
The long and the short of it is that the British Royal Family can do nothing right in the eyes of these two and everything is grist that comes to their mill if they can get an ounce of publicity good, bad, or indifferent out of it.
Maybe they don't realise that Brits regard people who brandish titles as first names are a bit (ooh) common? I don't think M understood that this really is a very different country to USA - possibly he didn't too.

I don't understand how H&M can't recognise the hypocrisy in this.
There seem to be quite a lot of things that these non-working Royals are unable to get their heads around. So much of what they say contradicts their previous actions. As Deedaa said: "Can't help wondering why they seem so keen to tell us their children are a Prince and Princess when America threw out the monarchy centuries ago".
I suspect that all their problems arose when M realised that she wasn't going to be a princess and that she wasn't going to be Head Of Everything in the Royal Wives Division, just an also-ran. It wasn't enough for her.
I read that Prince Philip called the late Queen ‘Cabbage’. What a shame they didn’t pick that nickname.
It they said she was baptized as Princess?
