I don't care if you call me a foreigner or not, because my self worth is not bound up in my nationality. It is my position that Scotland and England are different countries, and if you are from a different country then you are a "foreigner". I'm sure Norwegians and Danes consider each other to be "foreigners". However, as those who pay attention and do not seek to twist posts to their prejudices will have seen, I didn't call anybody a "foreigner".
A government that operates in a different country to the one I inhabit, is by definition, a foreign government. Despite a pro rata number of representatives, the Westminster government will always act in the interests of the majority of its members, and the majority of members represent what is to me, a foreign country.
