Over Posie Parker (as was. Kelly forgot the rest of her name)
On her NZ tour.
I dont do links, but it's probably easy to find.
The person who threw it followed up with a quick speech, saying something like she wished it was blood, or next time it should be blood. I couldnt really hear clearly.
Why such vitriol and violence?
(If there is another thread about this, apologies.)

What did you expect the security guards to do? They could have had a knife or acid.
They were resisting being removed from the podium so how were the security meant to remove them?

But if you want to have a conversation where anybody believes the slightest thing you say, you can't rely on videos that nobody else can see.
This is not who made the best rock cakes at the village fete, this is important for politics in this country.

Here she is being manhandled off the podium by security guards, this is called video evidence
🤔 should we be saying personhandled now?
There's no compulsion to prove anything on GN, its a chat site.
Well said, volver!
This should be emblazoned in bold capitals at the top of the site.
I'm sure all those posters who are asked for evidence or facts to prove what they say in a chatty post will be relieved to hear that.
It's not a court of law, it is a chat forum.
Oh come on now.
I've seen this video but incidentally I can't find it again and you can't see it, but it proves EVERYTHING I've said so obviously I'm right.
There's no compulsion to prove anything on GN, its a chat site. But if you believe in the comments about blood and soup, and you want us to believe it too, well need some proof.

Second video down, about 20s in.

Thank you for asking for video footage of Eli after the tomato juice (she says she used soup and juice, for those who are keen for clarity) assault.
You should be able to find it for yourself Glorianny I'm told it's on twitter.
I'm not on twitter, but I have seen it on anothers twitter account.
Also, an edited version cutting the reference to 'blood' with her stood beside the podium is out there.
Presumably the word blood was dropped as it has connotations with violence?
Dont know.
But I can see she isn't the least bit dishevelled. Which I would have thought she would be if she was man handled, in the same clothes with same handbag dangling elegantly on her shoulder.
She seems quite happy to me.
Anyway, make your own mind up.

^Also your remark " I don't think it is always apparent to posters how their posts come across"^
I just assumed this was a generalisation and that by saying posters volver was including herself.
If this thread was on MN I would be a lot clearer
Unfortunately this is GN where plain talking is against the rules.
So we have no idea where this child lived or was treated. I am sure that just as with many other body changing operations there are private surgeons who will do anything in exchange for large sums of money.
It would be illegal in this and many countries.
Exactly what I said. I received a notice that someone had posted this on Twitter.
Mollygo
Received this tweet.
Could you explain where this is from Mollygo NHS policy does not recommend surgery for under 18s. I suppose there may be some surgeons willing to do this privately. But it certainly isn't usual in most countries.

Thank you both for the analysis of my character.
I'll be paying it no heed though.
No problem-no analysis, unless your post was an an analysis of my character instead of just a snippy comment.
I'll be paying it no heed though.

V3 it seems to be you who was angry about the maths, but however you want to put it. If 1 in 2000, or 7000 were saved from harm by the halting of procedures that were and have since been seen to cause irreparable damage, I’m glad.
You could always Google what care is being put into place now.
Bridie22 your response to V3, that I’ve added below is really accurate, but unlikely to make any difference.
*Also your (V3’s) remark " I don't think it is always apparent to posters how their posts come across" can definitely apply to yourself (V3) also.
Thank you.
Volver3... I am 100% thankful that those 7000 children will not be treated at the Tavistock clinic, if by its closure it saves one child from being unnecessarily mutilated for life, then I'm thankful and hope genuine gender dysphoric people are provided with the care and age appropriate treatment they need.

Dont want to derail but I really hope farnorth is ok. She is usually on these threads and is so helpful in terms of statistics.
I am not sure that I am angry about arithmetic, I know that the NHS requested research into the numbers because they were so concerned, along with the change in demographic from who was seeking help, if I remember rightly it was a 5 thousand percent increase in 5 - 10 years amongst girls.
Smileless2012
Has anyone said that?
Bridie22 Sat 01-Apr-23 12:59:08
Let's be thankful those 7000 children on the waiting list were never seen, Glorianny
I don't think it is always apparent to posters how their posts come across.
Mollygo
This assumption that there will be no provision?
Reducing 7000 to 1 in 2000 is the best I’ve heard from you V3. How lucky for each of those 7000 to know that for each of them there are 1,999 children without their problems. I’m sure they and their parents will be reassured.
It literally says on this thread that there is nowhere else they can be seen.
There are 14 million children in this country, 7000 of them have issues. Sorry if you get angry about arithmetic, but there's not much I can do about that.
sorry that question was to volver.
Has anyone said that?
10 years ago there were 250 referrals so yes comparatively it is a hell of a lot. Thats why the NHS was asked to review the increase in numbers particularly the changing demographics, two thirds of them are girls which is also very different to what was happening previously.
