I m presuming you bought £50 worth of goods and were expecting 5% reward which would have been £2.50 off meaning you pay £47.50
Is that what you meant and expected or am I completely up the wall I m not the best at maths

Thus reducing the 5% discount to about 4%. AKA a bit of a scam.

Presumably the discount applies to transactions of “£50 or over “ so if the bill was £150 the transaction charge represents a smaller percentage?

Sainsbury’s charge for delivery unless you have a pre paid Delivery Pass.

Don’t all supermarkets charge for delivery?

5% discount on £50 isn’t a huge amount so could easily be taken up by delivery charge especially if you pick prime time delivery spots can be avoided by choosing a £1 flexi delivery or click and collect.
They obviously charge for delivery

Don’t know anything about Sainsbury’s offers we don’t have one here but presume you are being charged 69p delivery charge when it s all done online, sounds a blooming cheek
