Good morning everyone and Happy Easter Sunday from Severnside. 👋Bellasnana what a lovely surprise for you.

Looks like a lovely day ahead again so out in the garden I shall go. I’m making good progress with my plans.
I had planned on having lamb shank but depending on what Beechnutella says I might save them until tomorrow when she is visiting.

Have a good day all 🍳💐🦩

Good morning from a misty Northumberland, and a Happy Easter Sunday to all. Do people still keep the tradition of reserving Easter eggs for today? We certainly do. Here's a couple of pics of my DH receiving his single egg in 1952, while sugar rationing was still in force. How times have changed, I think Grandson Charlie is getting about seven eggs this morning!

Good morning and Happy Easter to you all. ✝️

Yesterday DB1 and his wife came for afternoon tea and hot cross buns. Lovely to see them and they are good company.
Hate them getting old though! 😢.

We are travelling up to our seaside retreat this morning , early , and hopefully beat the holiday traffic.

Bellasnanna - how lovely to hear from you and what a wonderful surprise you had with your Dd ‘s arrival.
I can’t believe your twins are 1 yr old already. Have a great time all together.❤️.

Take care

Good morning and a very happy Easter to you all!
I spent the morning emptying the greenhouse, rearranging the staging and shelves and sowing more seeds. It’s lovely and tidy now.
Dog and I had two lovely leisurely walks, she’s such a poppet, it was so nice to be out in the sunshine.
I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Morning all from West Oxfordshire on this Easter Sunday. Elder son and his family arrived last night. They had been driving all day from Scotland. Guinea fowl for lunch with all the trimmings. Chocolate bread and butter pudding is on the menu too, together with a selection of other chocolate goodies. My sister must be in the air by now. I think she arrives at Heathrow 2 pm tomorrow. Have a wonderful day.

Good Morning Mick and everyone from Hull. Another beautiful day is forecast.
Happy Easter to you all. 🐣

Bellasnana how lovely to hear from you and to give us news of your twin Grandsons. What a lovely surprise to have a visit from your DD. Enjoy your family time. 💐

Today we have the children and grandchildren over for Easter dinner. It’s Turkey and lamb today. We will hide little eggs in the garden. I made chocolate crispy nests yesterday that’s about the sum of my baking.
DH and I put out the garden furniture and did the garden so it’s all ready for the summer and looking lovely. It was a pleasure to sit out and felt so warm. With the smell of freshly cut grass it lightens the heart.

Wishing you all a lovely day with family friends and delicious Easter lunches.
My thoughts to those with sadness and stress.🌻🌻

Good morning Mick and all on this lovely thread. Wishing you all a happy and blessed Easter from Malta where the weather is expected to be mainly sunny and 19°C.

We have much to celebrate today as my twin grandsons turn one year old! Hard to believe what tiny little scraps they were when they entered the world almost two months prematurely, but both doing well now.

Also, I had a knock on the door on Friday and when I opened it there stood DD1 who had flown in from Washington DC (with her little dog) to surprise us ! To say my heart is full would be an understatement.

Happy Easter to all .🐣

Good morning from a calm Torbay.

Yesterday's sunshine encouraged me to walk over the Downs where I sat and read the paper for a while. Today, I'm being visited by DD, DSiL, DGS2 and DGD who are staying with DD's father. I’ve booked to take them out for lunch at The Babbacombe Inn so I hope we have fine weather for our walk there.

Last night, I watched Easter at Kings which included some beautiful pieces of choral music, a few of which I had sung in the past. One little chorister could barely see over the front of the choir stalls!

Wishing you all the blessings of this joyful Eastertide. 🦩🐣✝️🐇🦩

Hallelujah, He is risen. Happy Easter ✝️ one and all.
A very quiet day yesterday. A call from DD, on her way to the service of light, at sunset. We sorted out a few things before they come tonight.
She asked whether I needed her during packing, I replied that it depended on how emotional I was. The last house emptying was Philip’s - very, very hard then.
I’ve been invited to Easter turkey tonight at my dog walking friends’. As it is an entirely family affair, I feed very touched to be asked.
I hope you have a blessed day. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩❤️🦩

Good Morning Everyone,
Its twilight here in brackley , but dry and chilly outside .
Yesterdays trip to Bicester went OK regardless of the slight cold chill in the air , I did manage to pace myself walking and never felt breathless a good sign for me .
Today , I will watch cycling the best part of the day on TV .
Lunch wise Leg of Lamb steaks with Jersey Royals and peas.
Take Care,
Mick
