Yesterday i went shopping with my sister. I had two items i needed. One had been ordered instore and i received a text to say it was ready for collection yesterday. All good, bought it home, assembled the item which was a lawn mower and plugged it in, it worked but the height of the blade needed adjusting. No matter how we tried to loosen the bolt which held the blade in place we could not do it. I believe when mower was assembled in factory a power tool was used to tighten this bolt. So back to the store i went and they could not shift it either. Now i am awaiting a re order which hopefully will be here on Monday. It will have taken 4 trips to obtain what i want. The 2nd item i bought was a pair of trousers. The hanger stated the size and the length as regular, perfect just what i wanted. When i got home and tried them on they fit perfectly but are are to long!!! When i checked the label inside it said the correct size but Long!!! NOw i need either to return and get a refund as they have not got the length i need, ive checked on line, or do i go to the expence of having them turned up by a professional tailor. I could try and do myself but i worry that with arthritis in my hands i won't be able to do it neatly. I feel that ii have done nothing but go back and forth to purchase what i need. No wonder people shop on line and have things delivered to their homes and picked up when items need returning. I felt i been busy all day and had nothing to show for it!!!!
