Just heard Shelagh discussing the fact that HRT is available as a ‘certificate’, saving quite a lot of money for those prescribed. Apparently, this is not widely advertised, so it might well be worth investigating. It was also mentioned that HRT is freely available in Scotland and Ireland.

It costs £19.30 for 12 months which will cover as many HRT prescriptions as you have in the year. You must check that your meds are covered as not all of them are. Well worth paying for it as some people take more than one.
