I am sorry, I loved his twinkly eyed expression and bons mots like “I’ll pickle my walnuts” sad

I just saw this on FB. Ah that's very sad he always seemed so young at heart and physically fit. RIP Len xx flowers

Oh my goodness. This is quite a shock. 78 isn't old these days. He's dancing with the stars now.

Callistemon21 Mon 24-Apr-23 10:26:01

Oh no, I didnt realise he'd been ill.

He did seem like a real gentleman and was much missed on Strictly.

RIP Len

So very sad to see him go. A great sense of humour, and seemed like a real Gentleman. He also had that little bit of "edge" to him which all added to the entertainment value. Condolences to family and friends. He will most certainly be sadly missed.

He seemed such a down-to-Earth man, and a genuinely nice bloke. I used to like the holiday programmes he was in.

Sad to hear this on the news. I always liked his judging style on strictly, fair but with a sense of humour but not over the top. flowers

So sad. A bit like Paul O Grady in that I've never heard a bad word said about either of them and that is very unusual and so commendable.
