Good morning Mick and all from a dull, breezy and chilly Oxfordshire.
Charity Shop visit today with some clothes that I haven’t worn for a long time, they still have their dry cleaning labels on so I must have thought that I would wear them again.
Im doing some decluttering each day, satisfying and I’m being ruthless (at least I think I am)
Some good news is that MzOops ex MIL has a faint glimmer of light in her eye that suffered from the disastrous Cataract op earlier this year, Consultant said not to get her hopes up but it looks promising, of course she still has cataracts so she won’t be able to see an awful lot, but good news though. Although it’s left her housebound and she is very unhappy.
3 lots of bad news yesterday from different family members, when will it end? One in particular might hold our move back, but too early to press for a decision.
Anyway, ironing to do today.
Have a good day everyone, hugs for those who are feeling low.

Good Morning Thursday 27th April 2023
(68 Posts)Good morning all from a bright morning in North Leicestershire.
We had a busy day yesterday. DD3 and Wondrous Wolfie here, the plumber turned up, at last, and we had worrying news of one of dh's brothers.
Have the best day possible everyone.
Good morning it's another dull start to the day here in the Black country.
Toddlers was interesting yesterday they made buns from flour and yoghurt after the story of the loaves and fishes, they were a big hit both with the moms and toddlers when they came out of the oven. I think even the basic cook in me could manage those, shall try it next time we have the boys.
Shopping today and then perhaps some ironing I'm another who does as little as possible.
Enjoy your Thursday everyone and may you all find some ☀️.
Good morning everyone from a grey and overcast Inverness, hopefully it’ll brighten up later.
A quiet day today with nothing planned, I’m hoping it stays dry so I can get out into the garden. The last couple of nights have been quite frosty so I’m hoping there’s not too much frost damage on new shoots. I’m another one that doesn’t iron much these days, just a couple of DHs linen blend shirts and the bedding when we’ve got visitors….
Sorry to hear you’re still feeling unwell grandmabatty, hope you manage your art course later, take care
Enjoy your day and painting ginny, it sounds lovely
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐
Good morning everyone from a bright dry Northampton. Have an early delivery from Sainsbury's, so must soon get my skates on and get showered and dressed.
Must ring my holiday company as they rang about the medical insurance yesterday, and I left something off, which must be added.
Dance classes after lunch, first time I've been since before my holiday, the beginning of March, so will be very out of practice!
Hoping that a pleasant day is ahead for all.
Good morning everyone, it’s a grey dry start here on the hill in Wiltshire, definitely chilly too.
Did some gardening yesterday and sadly my agapanthus haven’t survived the winter 😢, so I have ordered some new ones. I’ve sorted about a quarter of all my pots, I won’t be replanting all of them, and started on the border.
Today I will continue after walking DDog.
Fingers crossed for sunshine x
Good morning. Overcast again here in Fowey.
Did a fair bit of painting yesterday. Just small ones illustrating things I have seen. I’ve got photos as reference for any larger ones .
I’m taking the bus into Mevagissey today. I was hoping to use the ferry but its first trip has been postponed until tomorrow.
A good day wished for all.
Morning all
We are looking after The Imp and his 8yr old brother today as the teachers are on strike.
After growing out my fringe for the last year I had it cut back yesterday, it’s softer on the face and cheaper than Botox 🤣 (not that I am brave enough for Botox)
Have a click & collect from Waitrose first thing, including DD’s birthday cake.
Have a good day folks 🙋♀️🦩
Morning all from West Oxfordshire. My sister is returning to Australia today and brother and his partner are off to Devon to stay with our stepfather. It will be nice to get my room back! It is my Book group this afternoon. It is over lunchtime so I will leave sister behind to have lunch with my OH and finisher packing. I will be popping round to a friend’s house this evening. Have a good day everyone.
Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 4° and thick cloud cover. Karmalady a productive day ahead for you. Grandmattie I am not a fan of ironing so hats off to you. Cornergran it sounds like a frustrating day yesterday for you.
Yesterday I read all day and had a quiet, restful time.
Today I have woken up feeling unwell again. I'm hoping it passes as I have booked an art workshop this afternoon on portrait drawing and I really want to attend. Back to eating little I think. Have a good day all
Good morning from a brightening Colchester. The weather is warming up and the antihistamine is in use.
General housework and pottering today. I too have ironing to tackle and bedding to get on the line. I'll set the robot hoover going but he's no good at laundry.
Love to all 🦩 x
Good morning from a dull and grey Black Country.
Thursday walk this morning, then onto hairdresser as I have not been since last November and it needs cutting and highlighting! I used to go every 6 weeks.
Then afterwards visit a old work colleague who lives nearby. She was actually my Manager, but we keep in touch and see each other about 3 times a year.
Wishing you all the best day possible
Good morning from a dry at the moment South Downs
The planned gardening was put off in preference for a walk along the river. Stiff breeze though, but out of the wind it was very pleasant indeed. The dog went in for a paddle - he doesn’t believe in swimming unless it is in error.
So this morning I will do said planned gardening - rain is forecast this afternoon.
Sons last day in Mexico today - visiting archeological sites. His travels have started again after covid.
Enjoy your day every one
Good morning and s somerset is again gloomy all day with drizzle and rain.
I am baking this morning, bread, buns, scones, rhubarb crumbles, that will warm my kitchen nicely. I also have some veg juices to make as I have too many carrots and my weekly organic delivery is due today
That is a full morning planned, so knitting, spinning and reading, whatever takes my fancy, for the rest of the day
a good day to everyone
Morning Mick, morning All from a cloudy corner of Somerset.
Must try again with phone calls today. The people I needed weren’t available. Dust removed we discovered the dash cam was on strike, a frustrating hour later we had coaxed it back to life
A little shopping this morning after the phone calls , then general faffing and a date with my book.
Your family are keeping you busy grandmattie. Hope the delivery arrives to time.
Take care everyone. Have the best day you can.
Good morning all from an overcast Severnside.
I’ve diy, food and garden shopping to do today. I’ve had to make lists. I’ll fit in some crafting as well.
I don’t iron much these days if I can get away with it. At Easter I had a pile to do….about 8 items 🤣
Have a good day everyone 💐🦩
Good morning from a dry Bristol. No owl earlier…
The girls are off school today due to the teachers’ strike. I’ll do as much minding as I can, although I’m having a delivery at the flat this afternoon. The girls might come or not to the empty flat. Who knows?
Yesterday was quiet, everyone was out. DD asked me to wash and, especially, iron her alb - the white garment over the cassock, under the copes, etc. She rarely, if ever, irons anything, so my ironing skills are very welcome
Hope everyone has a quiet day with little chinks of joy/comfort thrown in. Carpe diem 🦩🦩❤️🦩🦩
Good Morning Everyone,
Its daylight and its a clear sky here in brackley this morning.
My usual bu journey to Bicester on the bus , things seem to be building up for the coronation ,although on the day supermarkets will be open normal hours and bus services running normal .
