Good morning from an overcast s somerset

It was glorious yesterday, I was outside much of the time, even spinning outside with a radio on and keeping the bumble bees company. The ground was so sodden, those blighter snails have eaten most of my sprouted carrots, I quickly put more seeds down

I am dithering about going to a small craft fair, they do tend to be similar, I have been to a few and will not be buying anything anyway. Probably be better to go to the local shops and have a browse in the two charity shops and the deli/wholefood shop. The main roads in sw are rammed with cars, according to local news. I think it is better to stay off them today

A good day to everyone and welcome home ash

Good morning from a very misty hilltop in Wiltshire, hoping that means sunshine later 🤞🏻
Yesterday’s late sunshine was very welcome, some real warmth in it now thankfully.
Nothing in particular planned for this bank holiday, gardening and dog walking and more watercolour painting I think.
I hope you all enjoy the weekend x

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. OH is taking all his beekeeping things , including a hive, to the bee association’s field this morning. He will introduce a swarm of bees and hopefully they will move in. Not sure I’ve got the terminology right! I will be looking at beds. I spent a week sleeping in the new spare room and have decided we need at least another mattress. I spent three hours on WI admin yesterday and am absolutely up to date. More laundry today. I think we used every towel and most of the bedding when my family were staying. My sister in law gave me a beautiful picture using Australian flowers so must find a wall for it. Have a good weekend. I’m not sure what the weather is like here. A bit of sunshine would be nice.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Looks like it's going to be another quiet weekend for me here as DH is fully occupied elsewhere as is the rest of the family. I'll get out in the sun and make the most of it.
Love to all 🦩 x

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 6°. There's a breeze from the east and it feels colder and rain blowing through the wind. Ash that must have been very annoying for you. I own up to being impatient and I would not be happy at waiting that long. Susan I hope you are alright now. Acid reflux is a horrible thing. Grannygravy my sympathy. I'm not surprised you are exhausted! You are a star for doing all that.
Yesterday I felt better and everything stayed where it should. I got most of the housework done and even deep cleaned the bathroom with the aid of cotton buds and bleach.
Today I'll wash the floors and go out to buy a birthday present for a friend I'm meeting tomorrow. The weather doesn't look promising enough to tin the garden but I might manage a tidy up. Have a good day all

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. 5°C dry and cloudy so far.
Rain is expected

DMiL was discharged from hospital yesterday in a sorry state. She's very confused and wasn't tested for a UTI.
The transport refused to deliver her to her flat citing H&S so took her back to the ward. DS and DBiL eventually sprung her so at last she's home being cared for by her 2 AC as before.

I'll bake a cake and pick flowers for the community café.

I'm glad you are back on course for your surgery Mick smile

I'm glad you arrived home safely Ash

Sending good wishes to all of you with special thoughts for Kalu and for oopsa

Good morning from an overcast but dry bonny Berwick upon Tweed. Hoping that dry weather continues for the annual "Riding of the Bounds" here today, a tradition which dates back to 1542. Wherever you are, and whatever you're doing, enjoy your day. berwickridersassociation.co.uk/

Morning all, the 3 & 5 yr olds have been awake since just after 5am, I have the washing machine on and I am already exhausted.

We have swimming lessons, balloons to pick up and take to restaurant for DD’s birthday dinner this evening along with a visit to the local butcher’s.

Have a good day folks 🙋‍♀️🦩

Good morning from a chilly but sunny Torbay. I expect we shall see plenty of tourists around this weekend which is good for the local businesses.

There does seem to be a lack of timely communication regarding your medical appointments, Mick, which must be frustrating for you. I hope that improves.

Thank you for all the kind comments and good wishes whilst we were away. Our homeward journey by train from Southampton went well and we were back about 1.30 p.m. A frustrating time followed when we walked round to the company who “manage” the building where I live to collect a set of keys, left in their safe keeping so that a fire risk assessment could be made in our absence. After 40 minutes, the keys were discovered. Not the first time I’ve suffered from their inefficiency - couldn’t run a bath!!

I hope you all have a happy Bank Holiday weekend. Much clothes washing awaits here! 🦩🥰😎💐🦩

Up early as we have Bertie, Persie and Wolfie from 8am. Will take them to the village fete and hope the promised rain holds off.

Have a fabulous day all.
