First bike commute of the season today...

and I had to yell at a wolf that stopped to stare me down!

On my way to work at 7:15 I saw the wolf cross the street in front of me,(probably close to 75 ft ahead) so I slowed down. He stopped on the side of the road, but did not carry on to the forest, so I yelled at him. It did take a few moments before he slunk off into the woods. My heart was racing, and I checked my mirror more than a few times to make sure he was gone.

What a start to the biking season!

Oh CanadianGran, scary for you, but I would have loved it!

DH and I used to belong to a wolf conservation group, and we have been for walks with wolves, and have even stroked one.

I would have loved to have seen it. The best I get is a family of foxes which roam up and down our street most nights
