Light hearted - Disappearing leftovers!

Why, every time I go to the fridge for that last bit of left overs has it disappeared? A little piece of cheddar to finish off that sauce, that last helping of yoghurt from a 450 gm pot, that last square of chocolate from a large bar? They just disappear. I suspect it may be my OH. He seems to grin every time I exclaim that the food has disappeared.

As I live alone, I must be sleepwalking - can’t blame anyone else for the missing bits and bobs!

My DH says we must have a little mouse. 🙄

We have Borrowers in our house. They are especially partial to cheese and chocolate it seems.

One square of chocolate 🍫 left in a cupboard 🤷🏼‍♀️. I don’t understand this sentence.

Mine grins too Ravenscroft. They are just like children.

We also have a mysterious "Fridge Raider" in our house, and I don't mean the packets of snacks you can buy in Tescos. The same interloper also frequently makes clandestine visits to the biscuit tin. I have my suspicions, and am keeping a close eye on DH's waistline...

It’s the Left-Over Fairy. She’s not very good at it, unfortunately, so she usually forgets to leave any money. 💷

I don't understand the concept of "leftover food" IMO it's the making of another meal and chocolate is never left over, it is carefully "saved" for another day! grin

Since MrB started working from home it is understood in our house that last night's leftovers are his lunch.

There is never any chocolate in the fridge. I have more effective hiding places.

But the mice are fewer than when DS lived at home. When he was resident, my fridge and larder cupboards were being invaded by armies of mice every day.
