Well I thought I would start this thread for those who are going to sit back and enjoy the day.
At the beginning of my life -I was 6 years old, I was at Hyde Park Corner under a policeman’s cap, in the pouring rain, now at 77 I am at home in front of the television.
I shall enjoy every minute of it. Just watching the guests arriving.
Wow! doesn't even begin to get there. No-one does pomp and ceremony like we do. So very moving... and I'm a Republican by persuasion! Just think of the many millions watching this worldwide.
For all glued to your tv sets, don’t forget to move around and keep the blood circulating….. it’s a long time to sit.
Rosie has that in hand for me-spotting squirrels in the garden means rushing to the kitchen door to be let out. Twice in the last hour so far - I’ll have my 10,000 steps done even without the usual walkies at this rate
