Our estate has a party on our street outside the chairman's house. About a hundred people came last year when it was cold but dry. Tomorrow is forecast to be 19 degrees but wet.
We'll go with our deckchairs and a red, white and blue fruit platter. If it rains too hard we'll simply go home. Lunch, chat, quizzes and games.

I'm the only one in the family with any interest so will not be cooking anything special.

We've had ours today. There were 8 of us and we enjoyed a buffet lunch. Cheese and bacon quiche, pork pies, chipolata sausages, salad and a selection of sandwiches. Deconstructed Eton mess for dessert.
The grandchildren enjoyed it.
Tomorrow is DH's birthday so we are meeting up with friends for Sunday dinner at a local pub.

The management of my apartment complex are throwing us a barbecue, preceded by Pimm's and nibbles. No dress code specified but, going by the Jubilee, numbers of us will break spontaneously into red, white and blue.

We haven’t got any street parties or anything so we’re doing our own big lunch tomorrow. A family thing, there’ll just be ten of us. Four of our beloveds are in New Zealand and much missed, especially on occasions such as this.

We’re hosting, ham, baked potatoes and salad and various accompaniments such as sausages, hummus etc. One son is making a Union Jack trifle, another bringing a red, white and blue cheeseboard, and DiL’s family are bringing other bits and bobs. I’ve made a Victoria sandwich and I’ve got a royalty topper for it. We’ve got bunting and royal quizzes to do. Dress code is red, white and blue or gold or purple. I’ve even bought a tiara to wear grin (from Amazon.)

So how are you going to celebrate?
