Happy Birthday, harrigran. Hope all with health issues get some relief.
Quiet day for me today after a busy week.
Good morning everyone from sunny Lancashire. Had a wonderful trip to the seaside yesterday and a visit to a lovely farm shop. Ate so much good food I think weโre on bread and water today [ grin]. Hairdressers after lunch.
Happy birthday harrigran
Have a good day all ๐ป
Happy birthday Harrigran๐enjoy your lunch.
Mizuna .Hope poorlies feeling better soon.
Good Morning from an overcast N.,Cambs.,
Many Happy Returns harrigran, enjoy your special day.

Warm wishes to you all, especially those who are unwell, & have medical problems & worries.
Good morning all. Just lost my entire post - there are definitely gremlins about.
I was busy mentioning individually all who are going through the mill a bit, or having a birthday, or returning from a lovely holiday or break, but obviously the god of posts decided I was being too long-winded about it - so
to everyone instead.
I'm back home over my hasty dash to make sure all was well with the DGDs - of course it was! They are both very independent and capable. But nanny's taxi came in handy as ever. The only reason I stayed over is that I no longer feel I can fit 48 hours into 24 as I was able to do when I was younger and a two-hour drive at the end of a long day was a step too far. The girls didn't realise it, but they were nanny-sitting ๐
My visit to the hearing aid people yesterday seems to have brought the almost 18 months' saga with my all-singing all-dancing (not) hearing aids to a satisfactory conclusion and lo and behold we have intelligible sound! It's going to make such a difference when I'm out and about.
A much-needed quiet day in today with just a foray down to the town to the butcher's later if I can be bothered. I feel decidedly lazy and lethargic.
Have a good day everyone with an absence of cloudbursts and an abundance of sunshine x
Happy birthday ๐
Harrigran!
Happy Birthday Harrigran
Good morning everyone from a grey and cloudy Northampton, but sun keeps trying to break through.
Didn't post yesterday as I found myself joining the '8 am scramble ' to speak to a doctor. Waited 20 minutes to speak to a receptionist then another 20 minutes for a call-back, and was offered a face to face appointment for an hour hence! Cue a scramble to get showered and dressed, and rush out to catch the bus. And also leave a note for the Sainsbury's delivery driver to leave the delivery in the front porch.
The doctor was lovely, set my mind at rest and prescribed medication, which I hope will solve the problem. Walked into the village to get the bus home, then decided I needed a coffee so called into the little cafe, and caught a later bus home.
My groceries had been safely delivered and the driver had used the cold bag for the chilled and frozen stuff.
Then lunch and out to tap and ballet classes. Got home late afternoon, and cut the front grass before it rained. After all that a sit down was most welome!
Out on the bus to the shops this morning, no rushing around today! Kitchen floor needs washing, so may do that when I get back.
Wishing all a pleasant Friday.
Happy birthday Harrigran๐
Good morning from a cloudy W Kent. All plans for today have been cancelled due to rail strikes so I shall tackle clearing out the bathroom cupboards.
Happy birthday harrigran
Hope you get the rest soon mizuna
and enjoy your coffe gM
Best to all
Happy birthday to Harrigran Have a lovely day
Have a very Happy Birthday, Harri!๐๐๐
Good morning Mick and everyone from dull but dry Carlisle.
Yesterday was quite pleasant weather-wise. I mowed the little front lawn, only for the second time this year, leaving the patches where the snowdrops and crocuses haven't quite died down. In the afternoon and early evening, I read an entire book! One of the free page turners from that big online store that has everything...
Today I am off shortly to the expensive garden centre. I don't buy a lot there naturally but if I'm looking for something particular or unusual, there's a good chance they have it. Plus, I need to get out of the house!
karmalady, I reluctantly largely gave up growing veggies some time ago. Partly because we were often having trips away, partly because I thought it would be best to concentrate on fruit which is more expensive and, in the case of currants, impossible to get around here. It's not a fruit growing area. I love my crabapples and red/blackcurrants and like to make jelly from them, so much better and fresher tasting than any shop bought (not a boast, just is so!)
Best wishes to all of you and your loved ones with health problems and hope you see improvements.
And a good day to you all.
Happy birthday ๐ harri
Happy birthday Harrigran enjoy your day ๐๐ฅ๐
Good morning everyone from a dull Oxfordshire, we had a lovely sunny day yesterday, so fingers crossed.
Harrigran many Happy Returns to you.
Mitzuna hope you get your tests done soon, pleased they are looking after you, my SIL came off his bike and had to have a hip replacement there, he was well looked after.
To all other poorly Grans, get well soon.
Have a good day everyone.
A very happy birthday harrigran, I hope you have a lovely day xx
Happy birthday harri. ๐
Seems a few of us on matters medical today. Good luck everyone.
Good morning from overcast South Lanarkshire.
What a glorious sunny day yesterday was in Edinburgh. We struggled to get a seat in our usual cafe which was packed with tourists. Dublin was the same last weekend. All much more like pre pandemic times at last.
I hope you enjoy coffee with your new neighbour Mattie.
Get well soon the Ashs and Mizuna, your hospital sounds lovely but I hope you donโt have to wait too long.
Today I will be shopping for the youngest GCโs birthday. Iโve been given no ideas as thereโs nothing needed. Ho hum, Iโll make sure to get gift receipts.
Have the best possible day everyone, sending kind thoughts to those coping with illness or worries.
Morning Mick. Morning All. Suns just coming out.
Sat in the cafe at the heart hospital. Mr C has a four hour appointment in two hours. Arriving atโ7.15 we had the last parking space within a reasonably flat walk. Phew. Parking is more stressful than the appointments
Flooring day one went well. Or so the fitter said! Think heโs pleased to be left to his own devices today. We may have the white goods back for the weekend. We may not. Wait and see time.
Youโll soon feel more at home grandmattie. Our retirement development feels a bit like a village. It takes time to understand the unspoken and frankly who best to avoid. Took a good 6 months for me to feel it was home. There are good friends here though. Iโm sure youโll find the same.
Thinking of all finding life a bit like running up a sand hill. Enjoy what you can everyone.
Morning from S. Yorks.
Sitting in hospital outpatients in the middle of small bowel barium meal, worst thing was getting up so earlyโฆ
Will stop for coffee and tea cake after!
Bests for the day all
Morning from a cloudingover S Hampshire, we had sun yesterday the very hefty showers, chilly too.
Yesterdays lunch out was pleasant, today itโs grocery delivery, bloods at the surgery then pub early evening.
Happy Birthday harrigran ๐๐๐enjoy your special lunch.
