'Tesco' Scam Warning

I just got an email purporting to be from Tesco and advising change of password as someone else may have used my account there.

It's most likely a scam.

It wouldn’t hurt to go onto Tesco official website ( NOT via a link with the email that you received ) and change your password anyway?

Yes it`s a scam,i have had the same thing come through my e-mail.

When you check the sender's email, it's usually obvious that it's a scam. Never follow any links, open attachments or reply to them - just delete.

We had that same email - we just deleted it.
