Good to see you urms, what a wonderful man you met at the hospital. My love to you and your husband.
We’re hanging on to positive thinking here as Mr C’s surgery has been cancelled, again. This time Admissions were clear, the current industrial action is to blame. Until now staff have been very tactfully avoidant around the ‘why’ of cancellations. I suspect ear bashing from some patients has triggered sharing an honest reason No new date yet, clinical need juggling must occur first.
Initially deflated we gathered ourselves and headed out for cake. Very good it was too. Until a new date arrives we plan to be out and about as much as possible. Although symptoms are more noticeable and care must be taken walking is fine for Mr C as long as we don’t head for steep inclines. Am I likely to do that? Definitely not! If the torrential rain has moved away we’ll venture forth on Thursday. Mundane stuff for us both to do before then.
Strange isn’t it. After hearing the third person bemoan the rain I got to thinking how those same people were bemoaning the lack of shade, the rain. and muttering about the heat not so long ago.
Never satisfied are we?
Goodnight everyone xx
