I bet their bits are sore this morning. What’s has happened to public decency also what a revolting spectacle it makes you want to heave. There’s a lot of nutters out there.

When was being naked in public not an offence? Maybe never was, but cops would remove anyone pdq in the near past.

I was wondering this too. Not too long ago, we had the infamous 'naked rambler' here in Scotland, who was always getting himself arrested for being out and about (literally!) in public.

I don’t find it at all revolting, just inappropriate. There is a time and place and others to be considered .

I didn’t find it revolting, just funny.
It would IMO have been a lot weirder if there was just one, but en masse, down a busy central London street, it simply amused me when I was hot and tired and dying to get away from the noise and crowds, back to the quiet green haven of our little back garden.

So, can I go out starkers and not be arrested or not?

I struggle to see why so many are offended by the naked body.

It’s an annual vent in Brighton and has been for years. What is amazing is that almost all are overweight and not at all attractive. I wonder why they want to draw attention to themselves. A dangle of cyclists is a good collective noun but in the case of the Brighton maybe a wobble !

I’m off to Piccawilly……. I mean Piccadilly …. tomorrow. I always miss the fun!

Years ago I was with DD in her car, when driving through a small village we saw a young man cartwheeling in the buff. We decided it must have been a stag do because there were a group of young men egging him on. We had to giggle 😂

it's a fabulous event.. everyone in great spirits often playing musical instruments and using wigs and bodypaint.. good fun

Not sure which is worse: being behind a sweat streaked, skin tight lycra clad cyclist or being behind a sweat streaked naked cyclist. Neither seems appealing.

Am still puzzled by the fact that a large number of people, mainly men by the sound of it can cycle around showing off their bits but if one man was to around the streets in the buff he would surely be arrested.
Claiming to save the planet ( claptrap) can’t be the reason that PC Plod doesn’t feel their collar, or where their collar should be.😄

I gather, perhaps wrongly, that these events are well advertised in advance, so if you don't want to see naked men or women cycling, walking or dancing in the streets, just stay away from the area during these events.

Personally, I don't think they will make people regard the human body as something natural by staging these happenings, but that's their outlook.

I have never had any desire to take my clothes off in public, but as long as those who do so are not doing so in order to sexually molest others, I shan't complain.

Think I've seen it in Brighton at some time. Perhaps they do a tour!

Hope they put sun factor 50 everywhere!!
