Morning all from a warm West Oxfordshire. Shopping in Waitrose at some point and I really must type up the minutes from last week’s WI meeting! Otherwise a quiet day.

Morning from sunny S Hants, phone volunteering day, a man coming to quote for blackout blinds and quiz tonight.
Small steps Mick.
Enjoy your day 🦩

Good morning from sunny Colchester where a cool breeze is blowing the curtains. I'm very glad the heat of the last few days is behind us. The low 20s suits me well.
Getting all the chores that the heat has prevented me doing out of the way today.
Love to all 🦩 x

Good morning all from a sunny but slightly cooler North Leicestershire.

Admin this morning, facilitating the last of this Carer's course this afternoon. We now have a couple of weeks before the next one. DS2 is planning to call in for a catch up around tea time.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning all and having just walked around the garden with little pooch, it is decidedly cooler here at the Suffolk seaside.
We had another swim yesterday and it was so refreshing. People were still swimming at 10 o’clock last night.

We are off back to Essex this morning and will see how Dd has coped these last few days.
I must say weve really enjoyed our time here and it’s recharged the batteries. Coming back on Friday as ds2 and family are joining us for the weekend.

Dgd1 phoned me yesterday from Uni and we had a nice chat. She’s on her final placement and will finish the end of August. Where has that three years gone! 😳.

Tip run at 10, then a quick dust and hoover round.

Enjoy the cooler weather 🌸

Morning all

The sun is shining another lovely day forecast.
Off to the gym first thing, then I will feed the washing machine 🤣🤣
Not sure what I fancy for dinner yet.

Have a good day folks 🙋‍♀️🦩

Good morning from a sunny South Downs. It was a hot night so I pulled back the curtains and opened all the windows in all the bedrooms to allow an air flow. I got up at 5am to close the curtains to keep out the sun☀️☀️

Podiatrist appointment mid morning - otherwise housework and washing the bedding - then relax.

Pan fried mackeral, salad with beetroot and new potatoes for lunch. Eating our main meal at mid day at the moment as it seems to “sit” better with my gall bladder.

Enjoy the such lovely weather everyone. Keep well, recover sensibly and lastly metaphorical strong arms from me to help hold up those who are tottering through difficulties.

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 11° and sunny. A much fresher feel today. Mick don't overdo the housework. RoseandLilac that does sound awful. Definitely contact your councillor. Ash a busy day for you indeed!
Yesterday was very quiet and I thoroughly enjoyed the peace.
Today is a childcare day. Sadly there are no puddles to splash in, so it'll be swings and garden playing. Salmon salad for dinner later. Have a good day all

Good morning from a slightly cooler Torbay (14deg) which is welcome.

Take care you don’t do too much too soon, Mick. Perhaps a little light dusting but no vaccing just yet in these early days of healing.

That noisy clay pigeon shoot sounds ghastly, RosesandLilac. Perhaps you could seek advice from your local councillor. Being recently elected, they might be keen to help and should respond to local concerns like this, especially when it’s happening on a Sunday.

A busy day ahead: early Lidl shopping, Move It or Lose It class and a rehearsal for Dad’s Army this evening! I think a snooze this afternoon will help me through the day!

Wishing everyone with worries or pain some relief today. 🦩🥰😎💐🦩

Good morning from a bright Bristol. The temperatures area bit lower now, I think!
Started a dress yesterday, which I hope to finish today. A meeting this evening. Otherwise nothing else happening today.
Trust that the sad and anxious have some relief today. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from s somerset and a lovely fresh, sunny but not too hot, day today

The best news Mick, this slow steady progress is very good

A full wash is on and today will see me bottoming my bedroom. I have a haircut appointment late morning and nothing else scheduled for today. I am going to enjoy the more comfortable weather

Have a lovely day

Good morning Mick, it’s good to hear you’re getting better.
Yesterday was spoiled by nonstop gunshots from a clay pigeon shoot behind our house 🤬. Four hours of guns blasting every few seconds.
Poor dog was utterly distraught, and apparently it’s scheduled for every Sunday until October!
The local Facebook page was full of complaints but the only response from the organisers was ‘You can’t stop people enjoying themselves’.
Not happy to say the least; apparently we’re supposed to support people being enterprising, it’s private land and that’s that.
Today a quiet day, dog and I will go for a nice walk shortly then I need to tidy the house and do a bit of weeding. I also have a few plants to put out when I’ve decided what goes where.
Have a lovely day 🌹

Good morning, Mick!
Have an easy day and don't overdo the housework.

It is another sunny day in Siberia and I have been to some migration office to sort out my "green card". Off to the gym now before I go to school.
