My daughter has just given me an amazing small radio, it’s very neat and I’m really pleased with it. BUT I may loose my marbles trying to change station! I’ve achieved radio 2 but that’s as far as I’ve got!

I’m the same with a radio/cd set up my son fixed up in the kitchen.
My car radio is even worse. All stations are operated by a small button on the steering wheel. Very awkward, particularly with the beginnings of arthritis. Who dreamt that up? (Toyota IQ)
I’d like to see a screen with the band moving across as in Ye Olden Days.

My late DH bought a nice DAB radio but only ever found one station because he wouldn’t read the instructions. 5 yrs later it’s in the cupboard under the stairs because I can’t tune it even with the instructions 🤣

Alexa is the way to go. She can tune in any station you fancy listening to.

Poppyred, i agree, love my Alexa and listen to all sorts including BBC sounds and podcasts. I have one in the kitchen and one in my bedroom. Wouldnt be without them. She also tells me the time in the middle of the night if i ask. This enabled me to get rid of clock i had which glowed in the dark.

No manual midgey? You might find it online if not.
But, I’m in the Alexa group, most user friendly piece of tech for years.

I'm in a dead area for digital radio reception. Alexa is my friend. I have an echo device in my kitchen, living room and bedroom.

Another Alexa fan here. Radio, timer, reads my audio books, play my music, tells me the time and pairs with my Ring device so I can see who is at my door.

I’ve read the manual and tried Google! Some radio 2 presenters are just unbelievably childish! Or perhaps (more likely) I am a grumpy old bat.

I bought myself two lovely DAB radios one for my bedroom one for my kitchen last winter (I can’t find the darned receipt) one s plug has broken away and as it’s a sealed plug I can’t change it I think that’s so unfair using sealed plugs
I ve emailed the makers and they said nothing to do with them take it up with the shop but without a receipt not much point is there !!!
So I feel a bit miffed still looking for the receipt as I got every other one from the year dot
