Take a look at these bad boys. They are by Balmain and would set you back between £800 and £1,100

I love pumps. This shop in Barcelona is my heaven.
The photos don’t give the assault of colour on your senses.

I got a pair of moshula slip on ballet pumps from a charity shop, they were so comfortable that I've been online and ordered a pair in a different colour. They are £89 usually but £20 off so £69. I do hope they are as comfortable as the older charity shop ones as I know from buying earth spirit sandals over the years that the current ones on sale are a poor copy.

Same old same old, Bella.

I haven't forgotten you, just a struggling a bit. 😘

However, I have managed to summon up enough energy to purchase two pairs of (absolutely unnecessary) pairs of shoes in the Clarks Outlet sale.
In saying that I have been searching for a pair of low heeled leather, navy court shoes for two years. My DIL suggested I find out where cabin crew buy them. wink
Lo and behold a pair popped up on my PC, reduced to £14.

Marydoll when I saw the heading I somehow thought I’d see you on here. Hope all ok my friend x

I’ve just bought these retro sandals to wear with white ankle socks and my tea dresses.

I’ve worked out that a 40s style is the best way for me to be comfortable in the hot weather.

They aren’t the cheapest, but they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought.
They are amazing

Fanny, you are a besom.

I am now trawling this site!

How about either of these...

Well, I have certainly never had that sort of money to use on shoes, but if I had, I can imagine I might have bought some of them when I was young. Especially this pair of super sandals.

I would have loved them 40-50 years ago!

But I don't think I would wear them now, unless I found them in a charity shop.

How could she! Squashing their little heads down like that 😥

Yes those shoes are gruesome.

FarNorth Sun 02-Jul-23 11:26:37

I find any kind of toe post sandals uncomfortable anyway, but both of those just look horrendous.

I dislike toepost sandals usually but somehow I like the look of the gold ones.
I wouldn't want to wear them, tho, not even when I was young.

Stupid is as stupid does !

More money than sense, IMO

You do not buy shoes like this for any rational reason. You only buy them to advertise how much you can afford to pay for shoes and what a slave to fashion and street cred you are.

Aveline I’d say those ones were probably from Irregular Choice, so around the £150 mark. I love some of their styles/designs but think a lot of them look very uncomfortable. Designed for narrow feet without bunions, hammer toes, etc.

Yes they will be Irregular Choice I have seen them being worn when we went to Ladies Day at Aintree my DD has 3 pairs by this Company she buy's them when they have a sale always a really good discount they are surprisingly comfortable to wear.

They are comfy Fanny but I don’t wear them to go out. I’ve got Skecher sandals for that and Sketcher trainers and Sketcher ‘ballet’ pumps. They’re all really comfy and don’t have toe posts. They have memory foam inside to walk on.

I do own other shoes that aren’t Skechers but Skechers are my go to shoes most days.

Have a pedicure Callistemon? They make my feet look and feel lovely (to me anyway!). It's the only 'treatment' I have.

My feet are quite hideous. The only thing that would sort them out would be a transplant.!! 🤓

Callistemon21 Thu 29-Jun-23 23:28:03

Although yes, I might as it's getting more difficult to trim the nails and paint them, I'm not as flexible as I was!

It's a structural problem, Aveline ☹

How about these? As worn by Angela Constance (Scottish Justice Minister confused)

Oh dear, that is very silly.
Was she wearing them ‘on her days off’?

I think the gold sandals are rather lovely but I also think they would be decidedly uncomfortable but may be wrong if the stretch between toes is rounded and pliable.

I don’t ‘get’ them, they look like small fishing vessels to me.

Could I sail over to Australia in them?

HowVeryDareYou2 Thu 29-Jun-23 18:38:40

They're very ugly shoes
