Good morning Mick, very wise to not stray too far from home until things settle down.
A damp start here in south Gloucestershire, I’m not complaining because at least we had a few hours of drizzling rain yesterday so perhaps that will help my parched garden.
DH is off on the next stage of a long distance walk this morning so I have planned several nice walks with the dog and meet-ups with friends. The fridge has lovely ready meals so little cooking and clearing away for a few days!
Have a lovely weekend 🌹

Good morning, Michael and all GNs from a cloudy South Yorkshire. Hang in there, Mick. Early days. Everything will settle down. Not sure what’s on the agenda today. Weather dependent. Not a lot I suspect as I had a busy day yesterday, culminating with dinner with DD and her menfolk. In the meantime, I must track down a missing mug, last seen yesterday afternoon on the garden table. Now completely disappeared. I was wandering round the house looking for it at twenty past four this morning (yes another sleepless night!). I even went out and looked in the dustbin!! These things tend to become writ large recently.
Have the best day you can folks.
