I finally sit down about 9pm watch something recorded or search channels while I look through cookery books.

Then wine time comes and its a couple of night caps! Providing everything is done and there are no worries that’s the perfect time of day.

Bedtime - I love my bed, leccy blanket on if it's cold, Foxyhound asleep in her bed in the corner, book on my ipad and hopefully a restful night ahead! 🌙

From 5am in the morning when anything is possible till about 9am when reality has shown itself

I like the time after the evening meal, all work done for the day, showered and sitting down with a good programme on the tv.

No desire to go out anywhere in the evening.

‘The good programme’ is often an aspiration, not a reality though!

Between 6&8am I’m always awake around 5/6 sometimes I’ll take an early walk or in summer sit in my garden with a cuppa and listen to the world wake up. Don’t like the dark Winter evenings.

On a normal day, without any particular celebrations or meetings , what would be your best time of day ?
I love the hours after the evening meal, early and mid evening when I settle down with a glass of wine, pussy cats, husband and the telly. This is when the days are short and it gets dark early. Bliss. I am not a morning person !
