Its Dress Up Tuesday!

I’m probably having a dress up day on Saturday as it’s party time! Sons 50th.

At the moment haven’t a clue what I’m wearing.

I can’t do dress up Tuesday as I do something that requires very old clothes on that day, so have chosen Friday or Saturday as I never wear the nice clothes I have. Hood to see some if you.

I’ve just showered in wood and sage - 😄😄 but only have cut offs and t shirt on - quite warm here.

Gym gear + Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt

(appropriate as since getting home from the gym I have been jumping and shouting round the kitchen watching the football)

I greeted my delivery man only ten minutes ago in a full length lounging hoody, black and white striped.
I bought it from M&S when I had my hip replacement 2 years ago and it is marvellous for wearing first thing until any time of day I choose.

I went back and bought a wine coloured and also a pink one and cleared out their stock! They were so cheap.

I know it’s Wednesday but -blue and white dropped shoulder Breton top, big blue bead necklace, white jeans and red trainers.
Hair washed and blow dried - and all for the benefit of the shopping delivery man!

I’m wearing a white Landsend knee length nightie with pink flowers that I thought was too pretty to wear to bed so I wear it as a house dress.

I really should proof read. Fat fingers, small phone!

Oops! Commission

I am wearing a teal and white Seasalt tunic and White Stuff leggings to match. ( My clothes must match.
It has been finished of with a teal coloured necklace, which looks like an anchor chain, bought in the maritime museum.
A shop assistant asked me where I bought my outfit, as she loved clothes which are different.
I told her I had bought the outfit from my favouritesite, Otrium at a fraction of the original price. She asked me to write down the name. I should get commeission!
Tomorrow it will be back to joggers!

Back from my mammogram. It’s hot here and I’m now wearing a woman’s fit scoop neck t-shirt, knee length denim cutoffs, the aforementioned unicorn slippers. Not a scrap of make up though, too many allergies.

Currently sporting a hideous neon bright logo splattered t shirt as I am volunteering at the town's annual festival. The only way is up after that!

foxygloves I like your idea for ‘wear smarter Wednesday’ I might go for tart up Thursday or as DH has just said, frilly Friday so I can get my frilly skirt on for the garden centre. Alas the only place I’m going today is to put out the bins later, if DH doesn’t beat me to it!

Dressed up in cream cropped trousers and a sleeveless top to show off my tan, (saves on make up too), while I walked our dog. The outfit was completed by my tasteful flamingo patterned crocs.
If we’re going anywhere later, I’ll add a shrug and put plain crocs on instead.

I have washed my hair and blow dried it properly but alas I am letting the side down in a stripy Joules sweatshirt(what else?) and a pair of light indigo jeans. Waiting for the man to service the boiler, I thought my chiffon and pearls might give him the wrong idea but if permitted I might just about manage Wear Smarter WEDNESDAY.

I am wearing a sparkly top and my newest pair of trousers. Yesterday I was at a stately home where I encountered 8 or 9 members of the Red Hat Society. They looked splendid in their red hats and purple clothes.

Red nightie with black,white and blue tiny squiggles.
Blue dressing gown.
When I get round to it, nice ivory trousers, tan and cream silky shirt and new Rieker sandals.
May even put a touch of foundation on, one can’t let the side down.

Currently wearing a loose purple dress and unicorn slippers. This afternoon is a mammogram so I’ll be wearing jeggings and an easily removed top. No jewellery allowed.

Not exactly dressed up today. I'm wearing my smart grey trousers and a darker grey fleece sweater. Amethyst stud earrings but no other jewellery. I have youngest grandson staying today.

Black knee length smart shorts, pale blue silk over shirt with a black and white hummingbird pattern.

Accessorised with normal jewellery and Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin fragrance.

(No tiara today as on Granny duty)

I have so many tiaras to choose from its a case of eeny, meeny, miny, moe.

I’ll get the diamonds out of the safe - need to impress in Tesco!
