Good morning from the Black Country, where we have a bright blues sky. It is forecast to be a lovely day

Over to Mums this morning as she is having a visit from her private hearing aid company, to do an impression for a mould. Talking to her yesterday, she is so confused about why he is coming! Then we will go into town to meet DS in his lunch break, so he can give me his card and present for his Niece (my DGD2)

Then over to DD's village to visit them and hand over cards and presents. DGD2 is 15 on Sunday. Hopefully we can have a walk in the fields which surround their village.

Wishing you all a bright and sunny day

Good morning from Shropshire where a sunny day is forecast.

I am waiting for a message from DD2 to say they are home safely from their holiday.Last update as I went to bed was their flight was delayed by an hour.As they land DD1 and family are off on their trip to Europe.

Yesterday didn’t go as planned.A pain on the back of my head turned out to be a benign cyst I have had for years had burst🤷‍♀️I called the drs for advice and was given an appointment with the nurse within the hour. She drained what was remaining and dr was then called who prescribed a course of antibiotics.Back to have it checked on Friday.Uncomfortable rather than painful.

Thinking of Urms,Kalu and Baggs and all struggling.

Have the best day you can everyone🌺🦩

Good morning from a glorious South Downs,

Yesterday at 10am I was wandering around the garden enjoying the sun and wondering what to tackle when it suddenly popped into my head that I might have a blood test appointment. I pottered in to look at the calendar - 10.15 at the hospital!!!
I haven’t moved so fast for a long time. I shot out of the house and got there (about 2-3 miles) with about a second to spare. Phew! Then my name was called and she said have you got the paper work🙄☹️. Honestly since I’ve retired I am far too laid back and dozy. So then I had to trog to the day surgery unit and grovel for more paperwork to be printed out. They were all so kind -probably thought a little old dear in her dotage.

Well, today -hopefully- it is blackberry picking and a visit to the garden centre to get some supplies, like compost, fish, blood and bone etc.

Fish day today so pan fried mackerel with beetroot salsa and crushed beans.

Splendid photos llf

Enjoy your day everyone.

Good morning all from a warm and bright North Leicestershire.

DH off to the gym and then we will drop the girls off with DD3 where they are staying the night. The 5 cousins get on very well but I'm glad it's not me with all of them.

We may do more kitchen clearing or we may sit down!!!

Sending best wishes to everyone.

Good morning all from South Lanarkshire. It looks dry but dull outside.

We had a good day yesterday with DGD interspersed with a couple of spells of car sickness, poor soul. She had fun at the large play park which had trampolines, climbing frames, and crazy golf among other fun activities. We also had a ride through the woods in a trailer pulled by a tractor, great fun.

After delivering her home in Edinburgh we drove back through torrential showers, traffic at a standstill at some points.

Working today and I don’t think I have much help so it could be a busy one.

Have the best day possible everyone, hugs for our troubled friends.

Afternoon all! My brother and I spent the day looking at very old, tall trees, eating lunch in a Korean restaurant, driving to the top of a large hill with a wonderful view and finally doing some shopping. I am using my brother’s partner’s car while she is at work. My brother only has one eye which doesn’t see particularly well. I hadn’t driven an automatic since I drove OH’s 4x4 across the Sinai desert over ten years ago! We will be watching the Women’s World Cup after dinner.

Morning from blue skies in S Hants, hope your delivery is early Mick so you can get out and about.
Yesterday I went out to the vape shop, farm shop and ordered bbq food from the local butcher. MrJ cut thé grass, more tomatoes picked and given away.
One car reinsured, I’ll do mine today after we’ve picked up my daughter and our grandchildren from Bournemouth airport.
We’ll miss the football, hoping it’s on the radio.
Always in my thoughts those facing another mountain today.

Good morning from Bristol. Mi haven’t looked out of the window, but after a chilly start (11C) we are promised a warm day.
I’ve already done my washing and shall hang it out when I get up. With the help of the warden, I’ve also got to move a redundant bookcase to our book exchange area.
I had a very energetic day yesterday, with two25 minute walks to my tai chi class, then one of the church ladies took me on a walk around my area for about 90 minutes.
Finally, less energetically, the hairdresser came and gave me a trim. She costs half what the poncey one on the high street costs…
Today, a church ladies’ group in the afternoon, then the plumber is coming with a brochure for me to choose a new bathroom suite and shower.
I had put off doing paperwork, but girded my loins and did most of it yesterday morning. I still need to call the Salvation Army to pick up more redundant furniture. What suited my previous house looks dreadful in this flat! I am in the fortunate position of being able to afford (IKEA) furniture to replace it.
I must get some fabrics for patchwork I want to make for SiL’s nieces for Christmas. I know it’s early but I shall be imprisoned in my living room for three weeks and need something to do all th3 while the work is being done.
Grasp the slightest joys today, May the sun shine on you. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning Mick, nice to see you! I've been awake since 3.30 and am wondering if I might go back to sleep now. It looks like a bonny start to the day on the Angus coast - sun shining on the hills - but the rain's not far off. I've nothing planned for today, which is probably just as well, except for cooking some mince for the freezer. How are you finding the Wiltshire Farm Foods Mick? Are the portions big enough for you?
Yesterday's tai chi was pleasant as always, and I have my fingers crossed that my knee might have at last sorted itself out since I sprained it way back at the beginning of June. I also felt full of energy for a change - but I guess it will not be the same today after only three hours' sleep.
Anyway I shall now see if I can grab a bit more shut eye. Have the best day everyone and I shall pop back in later to catch all your news x

Good morning, dry and warm today in s somerset and I have all my windows open, for a cooling blow -through before heat build-up

Back to pottering today, it is going to be too sunny, with high uv, for cycling with an unprotected nose. Thankfully my quick hill march was fine yesterday at 6.30.

Bread maker is on and I want to be doing some pattern alteration before cutting a `bigger` dress, the toile did not fit right Moving darts and that sort of thing. It definitely keeps my mind stretched and active

Have a good day
