Good morning from s somerset and it is going to be a lovely sunny day

Some gardening work to do today, prep of a new bed for raspberries. I bought raspberries last week and they are so expensive, worth growing. Sigh, for the days when I had a massive fruit cage and lines of summer raspberries, tied neatly onto wires. I will be ordering autumn raspberries which dont need wires or stakes

I have some sewing, am making a new modern shirt and need to do the collar and stand today. I enjoy the challenges, keeps my brain lively

I didn`t sleep well last night, I think I was too hot so not much of anything else today

Good Morning everyone from Severnside. Cloudy with no rain forecast.

I washed the back gate and can see it needs some tlc. Hopefully I’ll be able to get someone to do that for me. I then mowed the lawn and did some weeding in the cool evening.

Off to have a swim today and I’m looking forward to it. Hoovering upstairs and tidying on my return.

Good morning from a misty Bristol. Tit promises to be pleasant.
Yesterday was interesting. I got my new glasses but need to “break them in” before my other lenses are replaced.
In the afternoon, I decided to find out my NS&I ISA balance. Naturally, they have changed the log in and require other info. My phone number to give me stuff was wrong so I called them to change the number. They were all very pleasant but, my goodness, after 30 minutes and being passed from one person to the 6th, I started to lose patience. Each of these needed my account number, full name, oldest sibling’s name, FiL’s name, yadda, yadda, yadda, only to be told that they didn’t deal with that and I would be passed to another person! After 40 minutes of polite questioning, I finally changed my phone number!
The lease extension price is correct. My solicitor tells me that for each year below 80 years left, the price of extension increases! Disgraceful.
I made a lemon drizzle cake for our communal coffee morning today, and some flapjacks for me. I fill them with various seeds.
The plumber is coming this evening with catalogues for showers and bathroom suites. Becoming excited if anxious about the mess and disruption.

Good morning from Shropshire.

Yesterday didn’t turn out to be the quiet day we had planned.Another trip to the nurse about the cyst on the back of my head.She has booked me an appointment with the GP for tomorrow for a referral to have it removed.As we were driving home from the drs DD1 travelling home from holiday messaged to say the children wanted a sleepover and could they drop them off so an evening with two very excited children.

When the children wake up this morning it will be a quick breakfast then over to Staffordshire to DD2’s for the day.

I am glad you are enjoying the Wiltshire Farm Foods Mick.I had been wondering if they would be suitable for my mum and think we will probably give them a try now.

Good Morning, another hot day promised here in Spain.
Yesterday we had a long but lovely drive to the ancient walled City of Avila.

Avila stands at 3700 feet and has complete medieval walls, it was the birth place of St Theresa of Avila.
Our hotel La Casa del Presidente was built for Alfonso Suarez a Spanish Duke and successor to Franco.
It is a 10 bed boutique hotel and I’m loving the luxury.

Im hoping my husband wakes soon so we can have a couple of hours walking around in the cool before breakfast.
On arrival yesterday it was too hot so we lay by the pool!

We found a fabulous restaurant last night with an interior courtyard, tonight we’re going to find a tapas restaurant.
