I couldn't decide which category to put this into so settled for the one where I hope most people will see it.
My fruit bowl and all the fruit in it are absolutely covered in fruit flies. The fruit is all fresh and their is nothing wrong with it but as soon as anyone goes near it clouds of the nasty tiny things rise up in a cloud. My DD made me throw a load of fruit away a few days ago and we wiped and cleaned all the surrounding area but today they are back. I remember doing something last year with vinegar to kill them, but I can't remember what.
Has anyone else got this problem? And, more importantly, has anyone got a solution to the problem?

) around houseplants, and got some yellow sticky things from Amazon. They are very sticky, and you make flags with the spikes that come in the pack and stick them in the plant pots. The gnats are attracted to them and after a few days there are dozens of them stuck to the flags. You change them and keep going until they are clear after a day or two.
