Good Morning everyone from Severnside. It looks a little brighter this morning. I am dismayed though to find the forecast for next week has changed from sunshine to rain…. BUT that could change again.

Your quilt is more than quite nice Mattie.

I’m going to have my feet attended to today and then home to await for someone to come and look at a job I’d like doing. I’ve thought long and hard about how I could do it and have decided instead of using BodgeitanddodgeitBeechnut to ask an expert.

Have a good day all and hope you get some advice from the nursing team Mick 🌻

Morning Mick, morning All from a bright, dry corner of Somerset

What a change from yesterdays deluge. No queueing for our covid jabs, administered very gently by a pleasant pharmacist. We obeyed his request not to drive for 15 minutes by having a cuppa in a handily places cafe. Later a long phone chat with a very poorly friend carrying the worry of managing care for her husband, dementia is taking a strong hold now.

Little sleep last night, my morning tea and toast has been taken back to bed. Mr C’s hospital checkup this afternoon. With luck will finalise the wretched car insurance this morning and catch up with some admin bits and pieces. Our son will drive us later, we’re so grateful, particularly as more heavy rain is forecast from lunch time.

I’m relieved you’ll seek advice today mick. Perhaps ask them if it would be sensible to keep a note of what you eat each day in case a correlation. Another pretty quilt mattie, laundry can be a challenge in wet weather, a clothes horse full of damp things here too. Suspect it will be me nodding off later.

Have the best day you can everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It’s still dark in South Yorkshire but the forecast is for a dry day. Different from yesterday when I got soaked between the car park and the library and sat with wet legs for three hours. It’s cold though so I anticipate that the heating may have to go on very soon. I’m walking this morning and hoping it won’t be too wet under foot. My walking shoes don’t have a lot of traction and I still can’t get my boots on!
Have the best day you can, folks.

I actually thought it was a lighter start to the day today, down South. Dry.

So many talented craft people on GN.

Going to see a new grandson today! Excited!

Good morning, it is definitely cooler here in s somserset and will only be raining on and off, for a change

I had my footcare yesterday, not much just cutting, filing and scraping with some oil after. I am thinking I will stop going after winter as I can reach all my toes and do it myself. It all adds up and I would rather buy fabric

Garden needs attention, jeans on, warm top and a hope that the rain does not come for a while. I need to get this garden to bed before I can hibernate. Two more weeks and I can start to pick my eating apples for storage and that marks a transition

Have a good day

Good morning from a dark start to the day where it’s just a little windy on the east coast of Fife.
Yesterday was real windy with little outbursts of rain then a warm sun came out to play.
The weather is all over the place this year and probably will be due to these climate changes
I’ve gone and booked a third holiday for next year - well you can’t take it with you.

Have a good day my friends I know who you are and I know who is not wink

Good morning from a dry but dark Torbay.

I’m glad you’re seeking advice, Mick, from the team.

Another lovely quilt, grandMattie!

We enjoyed the restart of Wednesday Club yesterday at our Little Theatre with a review of Dad's Army. A good turn out with about 10 from the cast ensured a lively discussion ensued in which many positive comments were made.

Have a good day, everyone! 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Good morning from a dark, dry, blustery Cornwall. Lovely library craft session yesterday. It's fortnightly and run by the Council and I'll be going regularly. I sat between an ex-biker in a leather waistcoat who was sewing an appliqué of Jimi Hendrix for his denim jacket and a lady knitting a map of the town. The tutorial was on Boro, the Japanese patchwork I've been attempting. A handful of home-schooled children and their mums were there too. Lovely group of people.

Today I'm meeting my daughter-in-law for coffee and cake, then back home to do some sewing.

Lovely patchwork gM and glad you're contacting the nursing team Mick.

Good morning from a dark but dry Bristol. At least, we shall have less stormy weather today.
As yesterday was so wet with gales, I only got my paper first thing. Impossible to dry my smalls outside, so had to use heated rails. Must get a tumble dryer for the winter.
The church women’s thingy was quite pleasant, but as I was very tired having been awake since 4am and not having had a nap, I kept on dozing off and only just avoided falling off my chair. So embarrassing.
I’ve finished the little lap quilt made from the leftover squares. It’s quite nice.
I’ve got tai chi in the morning, but am not seeing DD and family as Iris has a parents’ evening.
Have the best day possible. Hugs and prayers for those in need. Carpe diem. 🦩🦩🦩🦩
