If I really feel chilly, despite adequate clothing, the heating goes on. But we’re not there yet.
Dh doesn’t feel the cold as much as I do but I notice that he’s more likely to admit to feeling chilly nowadays. When younger he never did.
This morning for the first time I’m regretfully out of my summer trousers. I have on my new M&S ‘cosy’ jeggings, a thin camisole, a long thinnish polo neck jumper, and a padded gilet. And warm socks!
I must dig out my sheepskin ‘house boots’ and put them in the washing machine. Several years old now but invaluable when it’s really cold.
