Morning all,

Hope you have a better day today Mick

No plans yet, but no doubt something will come along to keep me busy.

It was raining when I woke up at 5.45am, I do wish I could sleep longer.

Marydoll hope you are feeling rested, and more importantly able to potter around 💐

Have a good day folks 🦩🙋‍♀️

Good morning all from Scarborough haven't looked out so don't know what weather doing, we are leaving today and travel back making a stop at York and the MacArthur glen outlet.
Fresh fruit, smoked salmon with scrambled egg for breakfast this morning could get used to this.
Mick sorry you had a bad day yesterday.
Marydoll hope your feeling a bit better.
Virtual hugs for anybody else with pain or troubles.
Enjoy your day everyone whatever your plans will come back later to catch up with everybody's happenings, may you all find some ☀️

Today I’m having my gallbladder removed - so just having a cup of tea and am allowed a light breakfast before 7.30 then drinks no milk until 10.30 then nothing. Appointment is at 12.30. Looking forward to tomorrow😄😬😬.

Nothing planned for dinner DH is having a Charlie Binghams.

Peace and harmony to all.

Good morning, rain is forecast today.

Nothing planned and if it was I would have had to have cancelled it.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning from a mild (17 deg!) Torbay following overnight rain.

I hope you have a better day, Mick. How wonderful that Iris can participate in such activities now, grandMattie. Another busy day for you! What a long time to wait for your card, Roses and Lilac! Enjoy the movie, NanKate!

My dentist wants to replace two old fillings and crown one of my teeth. This will involve four more appointments and cost more than my fare for our next cruise, which is a week long one around Scotland and NI!

The video call with a physiotherapist was much better than anticipated. He was a most helpful young man, informative and supportive. I have some stretches to do in bed each morning to support my hip as it continues to recover from what he thinks is a problem caused by a tendon and soft tissue damage. He was very much in favour of my Move It or Lose It class, whereas most medical professionals are unfamiliar with them.

Thoughts with those with worries, especially Grandmabatty, Urmstongran and Marydoll. 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Good morning, ‘tis raining here in south Gloucestershire.
Yesterday I met with two lovely GNers, and enjoyed a lovely chat.
I also finally managed to sort out my debit card débâcle, it’s only taken nearly 3 weeks 🙄
Today I need to tackle housework and get the ironing done. I’ve cancelled my haircut appointment because I want to grow it a bit.
I also need to go to the post office to return something I bought online.
Hope today goes well for you all 🌹

Morning grandMattie we must have been posting at almost the same time.

💐 Marydoll and Urms.

Good morning Mick and All from a dark chilled South Bucks.

Sorry to hear you had a bad day yesterday Mick let us hope things improve for you today.

Off to our brand new Everyman cinema in the town to see the Kenneth Branagh Poirot film.

I’m not usually up this early, heyho.

grandMattie Thu 12-Oct-23 05:58:50

Good morning from a wet Bristol. I think it rained most of the night.
I hope that you’re feeling bette4 today, Mick.
Had an unexpectedly busy day yesterday. After the residents’ coffee morning, I was offered a lift to Tesco by one of my neighbours, a very sweet lady. We look hilarious together as she is barely 5’ tall and I’m nearly 6’! 😂
Quick lunch, then off to the book group where people are starting to talk to me. The book was really heavy going - the name of the rose - but often these sorts of books are the best for discussions.
Came home and did some preparation for my next quilt. I need to go to town for some mauve/purple fabric. The little girl is into those colours; it’s her sister that is the pink one.
Today, my regular tai chi class, then into town on my way to dine with DD. Iris is in Wales rock climbing and doing all sorts of outdoors things that she loves.
Thoughts and prayer to those in distress or poorly, especially Urms and Marydoll. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩
