Being called a 'Guy'

I don't like Guys either. We had an ex DIL who used this and it irritated me no end.

I agree, too. I do rather object to be called a "guy".

I'm totally with you on this...I really don't like it!

My other pet hate is groups of couples and the men referring to the women as "girls".angry

I have noticed recently when out with a male friend waiters (in several establishments) ask "What can I get you guys".
We are both in our 80s and it seems comical to be classed as Guys. When with a female friend it's usually Ladies, which is fine. What's wrong with just asking "what can I get you" with a smile?
Oh dear, now I sound like a grumpy old woman!
