I usually have some sweets but to be honest I can’t be bothered this year The kids seem good and only come to the door if you put some signs of Halloween out so not expecting any knocks tonight

Loads here (daughter’s house on new estate) but hardly any where I live where the houses are around 20 years old - as are many of the kids who used to trick or treat once upon a time.

Our 6y old Li’l Miss has her Halloween joke ready. She was practicing the punchline at the weekend!

We usually get between say 12 and 20 T or Ters, but last year nobody came. I dare say the fact that it was raining didn’t help.
I’ll be putting a not very big pumpkin in the window, and will have some treats ready, but maybe dh and I will have to eat them all ourselves again, oh dear…
(I always buy treats we like, in case (we hope) of leftovers 🐷.

So looking forward to this evening, last year the littlest witches and monsters were out spooking just after 4 o'clock!
No scary stuff in this house, my window will lure them in with a pumpkin head scarecrow with black paper bats on threads, fluttering away ( just need to angle the fan and we're off).
Love listening out for their excited voices as the approachgrin
