Good morning Mick and everyone from a damp and still dark Carlisle. At least the wind has dropped. Yesterday was a reasonable morning weather-wise but was wet, wet, wet all afternoon and evening. I passed the time easily enough pottering through little jobs and training my brain. It needs a lot of work putting into keeping it in form these days! I'm trying improve my Spanish. I used to be fluent and even do a little verbal translating but it's got very rusty in the speaking and hearing department though I can still read novels.
I spent the evening binge watching 'The Crown". Some of this last series has been idiotic but I thought the last episode did well by our late Queen.
Today, the housework, I shall roar around with the vacuum cleaner and may even attend to my skirting boards, an area strangely neglected by me until they get desperately dusty!
Good to hear from you Marydoll, I do hope matters take a turn for the better and that you get some positive help from the medics.
And best wishes to you farview, that 'me' time with your dog is a very valuable thing in your situation. I hope you are getting some practical/moral support from others around you too?
